5. if one is seeking to be woeful, one will be woeful.

6. ਇਸ ਉਦਾਸ ਵਾਢੀ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ?

6. who must share responsibility for this woeful harvest?

9. such is our guidance; those who reject their lord's revelations shall suffer a woeful punishment.

10. ਹੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ, ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਖੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ.

10. o sister of harun, in no way was your father a woeful person, and in no way was your mother unchaste.

11. o sister of harun, in no way was your father a woeful person, and in no way was your mother unchaste.

12. ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਤੀਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ.

12. whoever ignores my guidance will live a woeful life and will be brought in our presence blind on the day of judgment.

13. and(after destroying the townships) we left in them a sign(to serve as a lesson) to those who fear the woeful punishment.

14. and they are followed by a curse in this(life) and on the day of judgment: and woeful is the gift which shall be given(unto them)!

15. ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ [ਆਖਰੀ] ਘੜੀ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਜਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੈੜੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ।

15. those who deny the truth will continue in doubt until the[last] hour suddenly comes upon them or the scourge of the woeful day descends upon them.

16. ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਚਿਆਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛ ਸਕੇ [ਕੀ ਜਵਾਬ] ਉਸਦੀ ਸਚਿਆਈ [ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ]। ਪਰ ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ, ਉਸਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

16. so that god might ask those men of truth as to[what response] their truthfulness[had received on earth]. but for those who deny the truth, he has prepared a woeful punishment.

18. how woeful is the plight of him who has nothing except his face to shield him from severe chastisement on the day of resurrection? such evil-doers shall be told:“taste now the consequence of your deeds.”.
