1. who pass the night prostrating and standing to their lord.

2. മന്ത്രവാദികൾ കുമ്പിടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

2. and the enchanters were thrown down, prostrating themselves.

3. തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന് വേണ്ടി സാഷ്ടാംഗം പ്രണമിച്ചും നിന്നുകൊണ്ടും രാത്രി കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടി.

3. and who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their lord.

4. അവളും അവളുടെ ആളുകളും ദൈവത്തിനു പകരം സൂര്യനെ പ്രണാമം ചെയ്യുന്നതായി ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.

4. I found both her and her people prostrating to the Sun instead of God.

5. തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന് വേണ്ടി സാഷ്ടാംഗം പ്രണമിച്ചും നമസ്കരിച്ചും കൊണ്ട് രാപാർക്കുന്നവർ.

5. those who spend the night for their lord, prostrating and standing in worship.

6. യജമാനനെ വണങ്ങി എഴുന്നേറ്റു രാത്രി കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്നവരും.

6. and those who pass the night prostrating themselves to their lord and standing up.

7. അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചും സുജൂദ് ചെയ്തും നിന്നുകൊണ്ടും രാത്രി കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്നവരാകുന്നു.

7. they are those who spend the night worshipping their lord, prostrating, and standing.

8. ഞാൻ പതിനൊന്നു നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെയും സൂര്യനെയും ചന്ദ്രനെയും കണ്ടു; അവർ എനിക്ക് സുജൂദ് ചെയ്യുന്നത് ഞാൻ കണ്ടു."

8. I saw eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating themselves to me."

9. തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ തലേന്ന് കുമ്പിട്ട് നമസ്കരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് രാത്രി കടന്നുപോകുന്നവരും.

9. and those who spend[part of] the night to their lord prostrating and standing in prayer.

10. 38:75 അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു: "ഓ ഇബ്ലീസേ, ഞാൻ എന്റെ സ്വന്തം കൈകൊണ്ട് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചതിന് മുന്നിൽ സുജൂദ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിൽ നിന്ന് നിനക്കെന്താണ് തടസ്സം?

10. 38:75 He said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before what I created with My Own Hands?

11. (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: "ഓ ഇബ്ലീസ്, ഞാൻ എന്റെ രണ്ട് കൈകൾ കൊണ്ട് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സുജൂദ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിൽ നിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ തടയുന്നതെന്താണ്?"

11. (allaah) said:“o iblees, what prevents you from prostrating yourself to the one whom i have created with both my hands?””.

12. "അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുക, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കരുത്" എന്ന് പറയുക. മുമ്പ് അറിവ് നൽകപ്പെട്ടവർ, അവർക്ക് പാരായണം ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ, താടിയിൽ വീഴുന്നു, കുമ്പിടുന്നു.

12. say,“believe in it, or do not believe.” those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, they fall to their chins, prostrating.

13. allah said:"what prevented thee from prostrating when i commanded thee?" he said:"i am better than he: thou didst create me from fire, and him from clay.

14. കർത്താവ് പറഞ്ഞു: "ഓ ഇബ്ലീസ്, എന്റെ രണ്ട് കൈകൾ കൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സുജൂദ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിൽ നിന്ന് നിനക്കെന്താണ് തടസ്സം? നിങ്ങൾ അഹങ്കരിക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ അതോ നിങ്ങൾ വളരെ ധൈര്യശാലിയാണെന്ന് കരുതുന്നുണ്ടോ?

14. the lord said:“o iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom i created of my two hands. are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?”?

15. പറയുക: നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിച്ചാലും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് മുമ്പ് അറിവ് നൽകപ്പെട്ടവർ, അത് ഓതിക്കേൾപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടാൽ, അവർ സാഷ്ടാംഗം പ്രണമിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവരുടെ താടികളിൽ വീഴുന്നു.

15. say thou: whether ye believe it or believe it not, verily those who were vouchsafed knowledge before it, when it is recited unto them, fall down on their chins, prostrating.

16. രാത്രിയിൽ സാഷ്ടാംഗം പ്രണമിച്ചും നിന്നുകൊണ്ടും ഭക്തിയോടെ ദൈവത്തെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നവനോ, പരലോകത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവനും (ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവനെപ്പോലെയാകാൻ) തന്റെ നാഥന്റെ കാരുണ്യം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവനാണോ?

16. is he who worships god devoutly in the watches of the night prostrating and standing, who fears the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his lord(to be likened to that other)?

17. ഞങ്ങൾ ഈ മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച് അവിടെ നിന്ന് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളിടത്ത് ശാന്തമായി ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുക, വാതിൽക്കൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച് സാഷ്ടാംഗം പ്രണമിച്ച് ഡിസ്ചാർജ് ചെയ്യൂ എന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ. നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾ ക്ഷമിക്കും, നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ ഞങ്ങൾ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും.

17. and when we said,'enter this township, and eat easefully of it wherever you will, and enter in at the gate, prostrating, and say, unburdening; we will forgive you your transgressions, and increase the good-doers.

18. enter this village' we said,'and eat wherever you will and as much as you wish. make your way prostrating through the gates, saying:"unburdening." we shall forgive you your sins and we will increase the gooddoers.

19. "ഈ പട്ടണത്തിൽ താമസിക്കൂ, അവിടെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളത് കഴിക്കൂ, 'പാപങ്ങൾ ക്ഷമിക്കപ്പെട്ടു' എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് കവാടത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച്, നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾ പൊറുത്തുതരും; സദ്‌വൃത്തർക്ക് ഞങ്ങൾ അധികം വൈകാതെ നൽകുമെന്ന് അവരോട് കൽപ്പിച്ചത് ഓർക്കുക.

19. and remember when they were commanded,"reside in this township and eat whatever you wish in it, and say‘sins are forgiven' and enter the gate prostrating- we will forgive you your sins; we shall soon bestow more upon the virtuous.".

20. എന്ത്! തലകുനിച്ചും നിന്നുകൊണ്ടും രാത്രിയിൽ അനുസരണയുള്ളവൻ പരലോകം പരിപാലിക്കുകയും തൻറെ രക്ഷിതാവിൻറെ കാരുണ്യത്തിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. പറയുക: അറിയുന്നവരും അറിയാത്തവരും ഒരുപോലെയാണോ? ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള പുരുഷന്മാർക്ക് മാത്രമേ ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയൂ.

20. what! he who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, takes care of the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his lord! say: are those who know and those who do not know alike? only the men of understanding are mindful.
