8. I saw eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating themselves to me."

9. and those who spend[part of] the night to their lord prostrating and standing in prayer.

10. 38:75 He said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before what I created with My Own Hands?

11. (अल्लाह) म्हणाला: "हे इबिलिस, ज्याला मी माझ्या दोन हातांनी निर्माण केले आहे त्याच्यापुढे नतमस्तक होण्यापासून तुला काय रोखते?"

11. (allaah) said:“o iblees, what prevents you from prostrating yourself to the one whom i have created with both my hands?””.

12. "त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेवा किंवा विश्वास ठेवू नका" असे म्हणा. ज्यांना पूर्वी ज्ञान दिले गेले होते, जेव्हा त्यांना पाठ केले जाते तेव्हा ते हनुवटी खाली पडतात, वाकतात.

12. say,“believe in it, or do not believe.” those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, they fall to their chins, prostrating.

13. अल्लाह म्हणाला, "जेव्हा मी तुला आज्ञा दिली तेव्हा तुला नमन करण्यापासून कशाने रोखले?" म्हणाला: "मी त्याच्यापेक्षा चांगला आहे: तू मला अग्नीपासून आणि तो मातीपासून निर्माण केला आहे."

13. allah said:"what prevented thee from prostrating when i commanded thee?" he said:"i am better than he: thou didst create me from fire, and him from clay.

14. the lord said:“o iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom i created of my two hands. are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?”?

15. सांगा: तुमचा विश्वास असो वा नसो, ज्यांना त्याच्या आधी ज्ञान दिले गेले होते, जेव्हा त्यांना ते वाचले जाते तेव्हा ते आपल्या हनुवटीवर लोटांगण घालून पडतात.

15. say thou: whether ye believe it or believe it not, verily those who were vouchsafed knowledge before it, when it is recited unto them, fall down on their chins, prostrating.

16. जो रात्रीच्या वेळी भक्तीभावाने देवाला साष्टांग नमस्कार घालतो आणि उभा राहतो, जो परलोकाची भीती बाळगतो आणि आपल्या स्वामीच्या कृपेची वाट पाहतो (असे होण्यासाठी)?

16. is he who worships god devoutly in the watches of the night prostrating and standing, who fears the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his lord(to be likened to that other)?

17. आणि जेव्हा आम्ही म्हणालो, 'या नगरपालिकेत प्रवेश करा, आणि तुम्हाला पाहिजे तेथे शांतपणे जेवा, आणि दारातून प्रवेश करा, साष्टांग दंडवत करा आणि म्हणाले, स्वतःला सोडा; आम्ही तुमच्या पापांची क्षमा करू आणि जे चांगले करतात त्यांना आम्ही वाढवू.

17. and when we said,'enter this township, and eat easefully of it wherever you will, and enter in at the gate, prostrating, and say, unburdening; we will forgive you your transgressions, and increase the good-doers.

19. and remember when they were commanded,"reside in this township and eat whatever you wish in it, and say‘sins are forgiven' and enter the gate prostrating- we will forgive you your sins; we shall soon bestow more upon the virtuous.".

20. काय! जो रात्रीच्या वेळी, वाकून आणि उभा राहून आज्ञाधारक असतो, तो परलोकाची काळजी घेतो आणि आपल्या स्वामीच्या दयेची वाट पाहतो! म्हणा: ज्यांना माहित आहे आणि ज्यांना माहित नाही ते समान आहेत का? फक्त हुशार पुरुषांनाच याची जाणीव असते.

20. what! he who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, takes care of the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his lord! say: are those who know and those who do not know alike? only the men of understanding are mindful.
