1. ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕ ਕੇ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ।

1. who pass the night prostrating and standing to their lord.

2. ਅਤੇ ਜਾਦੂਗਰ ਝੁਕਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਗਏ।

2. and the enchanters were thrown down, prostrating themselves.

3. ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਲਈ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲੰਘਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

3. and who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their lord.

4. ਮੈਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਸੂਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ।

4. I found both her and her people prostrating to the Sun instead of God.

5. ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਲਈ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

5. those who spend the night for their lord, prostrating and standing in worship.

6. ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਹਨ।

6. and those who pass the night prostrating themselves to their lord and standing up.

7. ਉਹ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ, ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ।

7. they are those who spend the night worshipping their lord, prostrating, and standing.

8. ਮੈਂ ਗਿਆਰਾਂ ਤਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਿਆ; ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ।"

8. I saw eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating themselves to me."

9. ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਝੁਕ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

9. and those who spend[part of] the night to their lord prostrating and standing in prayer.

10. 38:75 ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: "ਹੇ ਇਬਲਿਸ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੇ ਰੋਕਿਆ?

10. 38:75 He said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before what I created with My Own Hands?

11. (ਅੱਲ੍ਹਾ) ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: "ਹੇ ਇਬਲੀਸ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਰੋਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ?"

11. (allaah) said:“o iblees, what prevents you from prostrating yourself to the one whom i have created with both my hands?””.

12. ਕਹੋ "ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੋ, ਜਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ"। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਠੋਡੀ ਤੱਕ ਡਿੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਝੁਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

12. say,“believe in it, or do not believe.” those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, they fall to their chins, prostrating.

13. ਅੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਸਨੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਿਆ?" ਕਿਹਾ: "ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹਾਂ: ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਤੋਂ"।

13. allah said:"what prevented thee from prostrating when i commanded thee?" he said:"i am better than he: thou didst create me from fire, and him from clay.

14. ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੇ ਇਬਲਿਸ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੇ ਰੋਕਿਆ? ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂ ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੇਰਹਿਮ ਹੋ?

14. the lord said:“o iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom i created of my two hands. are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?”?

15. ਕਹੋ: ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨੋ ਜਾਂ ਨਾ ਮੰਨੋ, ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਠੋਡੀ ਦੇ ਭਾਰ ਝੁਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

15. say thou: whether ye believe it or believe it not, verily those who were vouchsafed knowledge before it, when it is recited unto them, fall down on their chins, prostrating.

16. ਕੀ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਖਲੋ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਬਣਨਾ)?

16. is he who worships god devoutly in the watches of the night prostrating and standing, who fears the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his lord(to be likened to that other)?

17. ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ, 'ਇਸ ਨਗਰਪਾਲਿਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੋ, ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਚੁੱਪ-ਚਾਪ ਖਾਓ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੋ, ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਓ; ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਵਾਂਗੇ।

17. and when we said,'enter this township, and eat easefully of it wherever you will, and enter in at the gate, prostrating, and say, unburdening; we will forgive you your transgressions, and increase the good-doers.

18. ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੋ ਖਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਾਹੋ। "ਡਾਊਨਲੋਡ ਕਰੋ" ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣਾ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਾਪ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਧਾਵਾਂਗੇ।

18. enter this village' we said,'and eat wherever you will and as much as you wish. make your way prostrating through the gates, saying:"unburdening." we shall forgive you your sins and we will increase the gooddoers.

19. ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, "ਇਸ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਜੋ ਚਾਹੋ ਖਾਓ, ਅਤੇ ਕਹੋ 'ਗੁਨਾਹ ਮਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ' ਅਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੋ: ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਾਪ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ; ਅਸੀਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਨੇਕੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ।"

19. and remember when they were commanded,"reside in this township and eat whatever you wish in it, and say‘sins are forgiven' and enter the gate prostrating- we will forgive you your sins; we shall soon bestow more upon the virtuous.".

20. ਕੀ! ਉਹ ਜੋ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ, ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ! ਕਹੋ: ਕੀ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਹਨ? ਕੇਵਲ ਬੁੱਧੀਮਾਨ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।

20. what! he who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, takes care of the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his lord! say: are those who know and those who do not know alike? only the men of understanding are mindful.
