1. جو رات اپنے رب کے سامنے سجدہ ریز ہوتے ہوئے گزرتے ہیں۔

1. who pass the night prostrating and standing to their lord.

2. اور جادوگروں کو جھکتے ہوئے نیچے پھینک دیا گیا۔

2. and the enchanters were thrown down, prostrating themselves.

3. اور جو اپنے رب کے لیے سجدے اور کھڑے ہو کر رات گزارتے ہیں۔

3. and who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their lord.

4. میں نے اسے اور اس کی قوم دونوں کو خدا کے بجائے سورج کو سجدہ کرتے ہوئے پایا۔

4. I found both her and her people prostrating to the Sun instead of God.

5. جو اپنے رب کے لیے سجدہ اور قیام میں رات گزارتے ہیں۔

5. those who spend the night for their lord, prostrating and standing in worship.

6. اور جو رات اپنے رب کے سامنے سجدہ ریز ہو کر گزارتے ہیں۔

6. and those who pass the night prostrating themselves to their lord and standing up.

7. یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے رب کی عبادت، سجدہ اور قیام میں رات گزارتے ہیں۔

7. they are those who spend the night worshipping their lord, prostrating, and standing.

8. میں نے گیارہ ستارے اور سورج اور چاند کو دیکھا۔ میں نے دیکھا کہ وہ مجھے سجدہ کرتے ہیں۔"

8. I saw eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating themselves to me."

9. اور جو رات کا کچھ حصہ اپنے رب کے سامنے سجدہ ریز اور کھڑے ہو کر گزرتے ہیں۔

9. and those who spend[part of] the night to their lord prostrating and standing in prayer.

10. 38:75 اس نے کہا اے ابلیس تجھے کس چیز نے روکا اس کو سجدہ کرنے سے جسے میں نے اپنے ہاتھوں سے بنایا؟

10. 38:75 He said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before what I created with My Own Hands?

11. (اللہ نے) فرمایا: اے ابلیس تجھے اس کے آگے سجدہ کرنے سے کیا چیز مانع ہے جسے میں نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں سے پیدا کیا ہے؟

11. (allaah) said:“o iblees, what prevents you from prostrating yourself to the one whom i have created with both my hands?””.

12. کہو "اس پر یقین کرو، یا نہ مانو"۔ جن کو پہلے علم دیا گیا تھا، جب ان کو پڑھا جائے تو ٹھوڑی کے بل گر جاتے ہیں، سجدہ کرتے ہیں۔

12. say,“believe in it, or do not believe.” those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, they fall to their chins, prostrating.

13. اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا کہ تمہیں سجدہ کرنے سے کس چیز نے روکا جب میں نے تمہیں حکم دیا تھا؟ فرمایا: میں اس سے بہتر ہوں، تو نے مجھے آگ سے پیدا کیا اور وہ مٹی سے۔

13. allah said:"what prevented thee from prostrating when i commanded thee?" he said:"i am better than he: thou didst create me from fire, and him from clay.

14. رب نے فرمایا اے ابلیس تجھے اس کے آگے سجدہ کرنے سے کس چیز نے روکا جسے میں نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں سے بنایا؟ کیا آپ مغرور ہو جاتے ہیں یا آپ کو لگتا ہے کہ آپ بہت زیادہ ڈھیٹ ہیں؟

14. the lord said:“o iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom i created of my two hands. are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?”?

15. کہو: تم مانو یا نہ مانو، جن لوگوں کو اس سے پہلے علم دیا گیا تھا، جب انہیں پڑھ کر سنایا جاتا ہے تو وہ ٹھوڑی کے بل سجدے میں گر جاتے ہیں۔

15. say thou: whether ye believe it or believe it not, verily those who were vouchsafed knowledge before it, when it is recited unto them, fall down on their chins, prostrating.

16. کیا وہ جو رات کے وقت اللہ کی عبادت کرتا ہے وہ سجدے اور کھڑے ہو کر دیکھتا ہے، جو آخرت سے ڈرتا ہے اور اپنے رب کی رحمت کا انتظار کرتا ہے؟

16. is he who worships god devoutly in the watches of the night prostrating and standing, who fears the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his lord(to be likened to that other)?

17. اور جب ہم نے کہا، 'اس میونسپلٹی میں داخل ہو جاؤ، اور جہاں چاہو خاموشی سے کھاؤ، اور دروازے سے داخل ہو جاؤ، سجدہ کرتے ہوئے، اور کہتے ہو کہ اپنے آپ کو فارغ کر دو۔ ہم تمہاری خطاؤں کو معاف کر دیں گے، اور ہم نیکی کرنے والوں کو بڑھا دیں گے۔

17. and when we said,'enter this township, and eat easefully of it wherever you will, and enter in at the gate, prostrating, and say, unburdening; we will forgive you your transgressions, and increase the good-doers.

18. ہم نے کہا اس شہر میں داخل ہو جاؤ اور جہاں چاہو کھاؤ اور جتنا چاہو۔ "ڈاؤن لوڈ" کہہ کر دروازے سے جھک جائیں۔ ہم آپ کے گناہوں کو معاف کریں گے اور اچھی چیزوں کو بڑھا دیں گے۔

18. enter this village' we said,'and eat wherever you will and as much as you wish. make your way prostrating through the gates, saying:"unburdening." we shall forgive you your sins and we will increase the gooddoers.

19. اور یاد کرو جب ان کو حکم دیا گیا تھا کہ اس بستی میں رہو اور وہاں جو چاہو کھاؤ، اور کہو گناہ معاف ہو گئے اور دروازے میں جھک کر داخل ہو جاؤ، ہم تمہارے گناہ معاف کر دیں گے، ہم عنقریب نیک لوگوں کو اور زیادہ دیں گے۔

19. and remember when they were commanded,"reside in this township and eat whatever you wish in it, and say‘sins are forgiven' and enter the gate prostrating- we will forgive you your sins; we shall soon bestow more upon the virtuous.".

20. کیا! جو رات کے اوقات میں، رکوع اور کھڑے ہو کر اطاعت کرتا ہے، آخرت کا خیال رکھتا ہے اور اپنے رب کی رحمت کا منتظر ہے! کہو: کیا جاننے والے اور نہ جاننے والے ایک جیسے ہیں؟ صرف ذہین مرد ہی اس سے واقف ہیں۔

20. what! he who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, takes care of the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his lord! say: are those who know and those who do not know alike? only the men of understanding are mindful.
