1. கார்ட்டோகிராஃபி ஆய்வுக்கு குறைவான அர்ப்பணிப்பு, அடுத்தடுத்த தலைமுறையினர் இந்த பரவலான வரைபடம் பயனற்றது என்பதை புரிந்துகொண்டு சூரியன் மற்றும் குளிர்காலத்தின் வானிலைக்கு இரக்கமின்றி அதை கைவிட்டனர்.

1. less addicted to the study of cartography, succeeding generations understood that this widespread map was useless and with impiety they abandoned it to the inclemencies of the sun and of the winters.

2. impiety walks with head held high.

3. துரோகத்தின் பிணைப்புகளை விடுவித்தல்;

8. therefore, prudent men, hear me: impiety is far from god, and iniquity is far from the almighty.

9. இந்த யுகத்தில் நாம் நிதானமாகவும், நீதியாகவும், தெய்வீகமாகவும் வாழ, தெய்வபக்தியையும் உலக ஆசைகளையும் கைவிடும்படி அறிவுறுத்துகிறது.

9. instructing us to reject impiety and worldly desires, so that we may live soberly and justly and piously in this age,

10. இந்த யுகத்தில் நாம் நிதானமாகவும், நீதியாகவும், தெய்வீகமாகவும் வாழ, தெய்வபக்தியையும் உலக ஆசைகளையும் கைவிடும்படி அறிவுறுத்துகிறது.

10. instructing us to reject impiety and worldly desires, so that we may live soberly and justly and piously in this age,

14. such as fear not the meeting with us(for judgment) say:"why are not the angels sent down to us, or(why) do we not see our lord?" indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety!

15. and(it was a warning) when we told thee: lo! thy lord encompasseth mankind, and we appointed the sight which we showed thee as an ordeal for mankind, and(likewise) the accursed tree in the qur'an. we warn them, but it increaseth them in naught save gross impiety.
