1. നീരസമില്ലാതെ സംസാരിച്ചു

1. he spoke without rancour

2. ആരെങ്കിലും അത് തിന്മയായും അന്യായമായും ചെയ്താൽ, ഞങ്ങൾ അവനെ ഉടൻ തീയിൽ എറിയുന്നതാണ്. അത് അല്ലാഹുവിന് എളുപ്പമാണ്.

2. if any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall we cast them into the fire: and easy it is for allah.

3. അവരുടെ സ്തനങ്ങളിലുള്ള എല്ലാ വൈരാഗ്യവും ഞങ്ങൾ നീക്കിക്കളയും; അവർ കട്ടിലിൽ മുഖാമുഖം കിടക്കുന്ന സഹോദരങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ആയിരിക്കും;

3. we shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face;

4. അവരിൽ പലരും പാപത്തിലും പകയിലും നിഷിദ്ധമായ ഭക്ഷണത്തിലും പരസ്പരം മത്സരിക്കുന്നത് നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നു. അവർ ചെയ്യുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ വളരെ മോശമാണ്.

4. many of them dost thou see, racing each other in sin and rancour, and their eating of things forbidden. evil indeed are the things that they do.

5. അഹിംസയുടെ അഗ്നിപരീക്ഷണമാണ് അഹിംസാത്മകമായ സംഘട്ടനത്തിൽ നീരസമൊന്നുമില്ല, അവസാനം ശത്രുക്കൾ മിത്രങ്ങളാകുന്നു.

5. it is the acid test of non-violence that in a non-violent conflict there is no rancour left behind and, in the end, the enemies are converted into friends.

6. അക്രമം, നീരസം, പ്രതികാരം എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് അർത്ഥമില്ലെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കാരുണ്യം സാധ്യമാക്കുന്നു, ഈ വികാരങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നവനാണ് ആദ്യത്തെ ഇര, കാരണം അവൻ സ്വന്തം അന്തസ്സ് നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

6. mercy enables us to understand that violence, rancour, vengefulness have no meaning, and the first victim is whoever feels these sentiments, because he deprives himself of his own dignity.

7. അവർക്ക് ശേഷം വന്നവർ പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ! വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പേ പോയ ഞങ്ങളോടും ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരങ്ങളോടും ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ, വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരോട് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ നീരസമൊന്നും ഉണ്ടാക്കരുത്. ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥാ! നീ ഭക്തനും കരുണാമയനുമാണ്.

7. and those who came(into the faith) after them say: our lord! forgive us and our brethren who were before us in the faith, and place not in our hearts any rancour toward those who believe. our lord! thou art full of pity, merciful.

8. അവർക്കു ശേഷം വന്നവരോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറയുന്നു: "ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കും വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ മുൻഗാമികളായ ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരങ്ങൾക്കും നീ പൊറുത്തുതരേണമേ. ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥാ, അങ്ങ് വളരെ നല്ലവനും കരുണാമയനുമാണ്.

8. and[also for] those who came in after them, who say,‘our lord, forgive us and our brethren who were our forerunners in the faith, and do not put any rancour in our hearts toward the faithful. our lord, you are indeed most kind and merciful.

9. അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ വന്നവർ പറഞ്ഞു: "ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥാ! വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പേ പോയ ഞങ്ങളോടും ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരങ്ങളോടും ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ, വിശ്വസിച്ചവരോട് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ നീരസമൊന്നും ഉണ്ടാക്കരുത്. ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥാ! തീർച്ചയായും നീ ആർദ്രനും കരുണാമയനുമാണ്.

9. and it is also due unto those who came after them, saying:'our lord! forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in the faith, and place not in our hearts any rancour toward those who had believed. our lord! verily thou art tender, merciful.

10. അവർക്ക് ശേഷം വന്നവരെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം അവർ പറയുന്നു: "ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കും വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരങ്ങൾക്കും നീ പൊറുത്തുതരേണമേ. വിശ്വസിച്ചവരോട് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ നീരസപ്പെടരുത്." ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ തീർച്ചയായും സൗമ്യനും കരുണാമയനുമാണ്.

10. and as for those who came after them, they say,'our lord, forgive us and our brothers, who preceded us in belief, and put thou not into our hearts any rancour towards those who believe. our lord, surely thou art the all-gentle, the all-compassionate.

11. അത് അവർക്ക് ശേഷം വന്നവർക്കും പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നവർക്കും അവകാശപ്പെട്ടതാണ്: "കർത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കും വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരങ്ങൾക്കും പൊറുത്തുതരേണമേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചവരോട് വിരോധമൊന്നും ഉണ്ടാക്കരുതേ." കർത്താവേ, അങ്ങ് ഏറ്റവും ആർദ്രനും കരുണാമയനുമാണ്.

11. and it also belongs to those who came after them, and who pray:“lord, forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in faith, and do not put in our hearts any rancour towards those who believe. lord, you are the most tender, the most compassionate.”.
