1. ناراضگی کے بغیر بولا

1. he spoke without rancour

2. اگر کوئی یہ ظلم اور ناانصافی سے کرے گا تو ہم اسے عنقریب آگ میں ڈال دیں گے اور یہ اللہ کے نزدیک آسان ہے۔

2. if any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall we cast them into the fire: and easy it is for allah.

3. ہم اُن کے سینوں میں تمام کینہ اُتار دیں گے۔ وہ آمنے سامنے بستروں پر بھائیوں کی طرح ہوں گے۔

3. we shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face;

4. آپ ان میں سے بہت سے لوگوں کو گناہ اور کینہ میں ایک دوسرے سے مقابلہ کرتے ہوئے دیکھتے ہیں، اور ان کی حرام چیزوں کی خوراک ہے۔ وہ جو کرتے ہیں وہ واقعی بری ہیں۔

4. many of them dost thou see, racing each other in sin and rancour, and their eating of things forbidden. evil indeed are the things that they do.

5. یہ عدم تشدد کا لٹمس ٹیسٹ ہے کہ عدم تشدد میں کوئی ناراضگی نہیں ہوتی اور آخر میں دشمن دوست بن جاتے ہیں۔

5. it is the acid test of non-violence that in a non-violent conflict there is no rancour left behind and, in the end, the enemies are converted into friends.

6. رحم یہ سمجھنا ممکن بناتا ہے کہ تشدد، ناراضگی، انتقام کا کوئی مطلب نہیں، اور پہلا شکار وہ ہوتا ہے جو ان احساسات کا تجربہ کرتا ہے، کیونکہ وہ خود کو اپنی عزت سے محروم کرتا ہے۔

6. mercy enables us to understand that violence, rancour, vengefulness have no meaning, and the first victim is whoever feels these sentiments, because he deprives himself of his own dignity.

7. اور جو لوگ ان کے بعد آئے وہ کہتے ہیں اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں اور ہمارے ان بھائیوں کو جو ایمان کے ساتھ ہم سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں بخش دے اور ہمارے دلوں میں ایمان والوں کے لیے کوئی ناراضگی نہ رکھ۔ ہمارے رب! تم پرہیزگار، رحمدل ہو۔

7. and those who came(into the faith) after them say: our lord! forgive us and our brethren who were before us in the faith, and place not in our hearts any rancour toward those who believe. our lord! thou art full of pity, merciful.

8. اور ان لوگوں کے لیے بھی جو ان کے بعد آئے، جو کہتے ہیں: "اے ہمارے رب، ہمیں اور ہمارے ان بھائیوں کو بخش دے جو ایمان میں ہمارے پیش رو رہے ہیں، اور ہمارے دلوں میں ایمان والوں کے لیے کینہ نہ رکھ۔" اے ہمارے رب، تو واقعی بہت اچھا اور رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

8. and[also for] those who came in after them, who say,‘our lord, forgive us and our brethren who were our forerunners in the faith, and do not put any rancour in our hearts toward the faithful. our lord, you are indeed most kind and merciful.

9. اور یہ ان لوگوں کی وجہ سے بھی ہے جو ان کے بعد آئے کہ: اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں اور ہمارے ان بھائیوں کو جو ایمان کے ساتھ ہم سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں بخش دے اور ہمارے دلوں میں ایمان والوں کے لیے کوئی ناراضگی نہ رکھ۔ ہمارے رب! بے شک تو مہربان، رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

9. and it is also due unto those who came after them, saying:'our lord! forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in the faith, and place not in our hearts any rancour toward those who had believed. our lord! verily thou art tender, merciful.

10. اور جو لوگ ان کے بعد آئے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اے ہمارے رب ہمیں بخش دے اور ہمارے ان بھائیوں کو جو ایمان میں ہم سے پہلے ہیں اور ہمارے دلوں میں ایمان والوں کے لیے کوئی بغض نہ رکھ۔ اے ہمارے رب، بے شک تو رحم کرنے والا، رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

10. and as for those who came after them, they say,'our lord, forgive us and our brothers, who preceded us in belief, and put thou not into our hearts any rancour towards those who believe. our lord, surely thou art the all-gentle, the all-compassionate.

11. اور یہ ان لوگوں کا بھی ہے جو ان کے بعد آئے اور جو دعا کرتے ہیں: "اے پروردگار ہمیں اور ہمارے ان بھائیوں کو معاف فرما جو ایمان میں ہم سے پہلے تھے، اور ہمارے دلوں میں ایمان والوں کے لیے کینہ نہ ڈال"۔ اے رب، آپ سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے، سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے ہیں۔

11. and it also belongs to those who came after them, and who pray:“lord, forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in faith, and do not put in our hearts any rancour towards those who believe. lord, you are the most tender, the most compassionate.”.
