1. کچھ عاجز ہوں گے اور کچھ بلند ہوں گے۔

1. some shall be abased and others exalted.

2. درحقیقت، بادشاہ جب کسی شہر میں داخل ہوتے ہیں تو اسے تباہ کر دیتے ہیں اور اپنے لوگوں میں سے سب سے زیادہ طاقتور کو سب سے ذلیل کر دیتے ہیں۔

2. indeed when kings enter a town, they devastate it, and reduce the mightiest of its people to the most abased.

3. ہم ان کو عذاب میں گرفتار کر چکے ہیں لیکن انہوں نے نہ اپنے مالک کے سامنے عاجزی کی اور نہ ہی عاجزی کی۔

3. we already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their lord nor were they humble;

4. اور ہم ان لوگوں پر احسان کرنا چاہتے ہیں جو زمین پر عاجز ہیں، انہیں امام بنائیں اور انہیں وارث بنائیں۔

4. and we desired to show favour to those who were abased in the land, and to make them imams, and to make them the heirs.

5. تیرے آقا نے فرمایا مجھ سے دعا کرو میں تمہاری دعا قبول کروں گا۔ یقیناً جو لوگ میری عبادت میں غرور کرتے ہیں وہ ذلیل ہو کر جہنم میں داخل ہوں گے۔

5. your lord said:“pray to me, and i will accept your prayers. surely those who wax too proud to worship me shall enter hell, utterly abased.”.

6. جو لوگ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی مخالفت کرتے ہیں وہ ان سے پہلے والوں کی طرح ذلیل و خوار ہوں گے۔ اور یقیناً ہم نے کھلی نشانیاں نازل کی ہیں۔ اور کافروں کے لیے یہ ذلت آمیز عذاب ہو گا۔

6. verily those who oppose allah and his apostle shall be abased even as those before them were abased; and of a surety we have sent down manifest signs. and for the infidels will be a torment ignominious.
