1. કેટલાકને નમ્ર કરવામાં આવશે અને અન્યને ઉન્નત કરવામાં આવશે.

1. some shall be abased and others exalted.

2. ખરેખર, જ્યારે રાજાઓ શહેરમાં પ્રવેશ કરે છે, ત્યારે તેઓ તેને બરબાદ કરી નાખે છે અને તેમની સૌથી શક્તિશાળી પ્રજાને સૌથી નમ્ર બનાવી દે છે.

2. indeed when kings enter a town, they devastate it, and reduce the mightiest of its people to the most abased.

3. અમે તેમને પહેલેથી જ સજા સાથે પકડ્યા છે, પરંતુ તેઓએ પોતાને તેમના માલિક માટે નમ્ર કર્યા ન હતા અને તેઓ નમ્ર ન હતા;

3. we already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their lord nor were they humble;

4. અને અમે ઇચ્છીએ છીએ કે જેઓ ધરતી પર નમ્ર બની ગયા છે તેઓને ઇમામ બનાવવા અને તેમને વારસદાર બનાવવાની અમારી કૃપા છે.

4. and we desired to show favour to those who were abased in the land, and to make them imams, and to make them the heirs.

5. તમારા સ્વામીએ કહ્યું, "મને પ્રાર્થના કરો, અને હું તમારી પ્રાર્થના સ્વીકારીશ. ચોક્કસપણે જેઓ મારી પૂજા કરવામાં ખૂબ ગર્વ અનુભવે છે તેઓ સંપૂર્ણપણે અપમાનિત થઈને નરકમાં પ્રવેશ કરશે.

5. your lord said:“pray to me, and i will accept your prayers. surely those who wax too proud to worship me shall enter hell, utterly abased.”.

6. ખરેખર, જેઓ અલ્લાહ અને તેના રસૂલનો વિરોધ કરે છે તેઓને તેમના પહેલાની જેમ અપમાનિત કરવામાં આવશે. અને નિઃશંકપણે અમે સ્પષ્ટ નિશાનીઓ ઉતારી છે. અને નાસ્તિકો માટે તે અપમાનજનક યાતના હશે.

6. verily those who oppose allah and his apostle shall be abased even as those before them were abased; and of a surety we have sent down manifest signs. and for the infidels will be a torment ignominious.
