1. ظالموں کے لیے سخت سزا ہونی چاہیے۔‘‘ (14:22)

1. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty.” (14: 22)

2. انہوں نے کہا: پاک ہے ہمارے رب! دیکھیں! ہم مجرم رہے ہیں.

2. they said: glorified be our lord! lo! we have been wrong-doers.

3. اس کا ٹھکانہ آگ ہے، اور بدکاروں کا ناخوش ٹھکانا ہے۔

3. their habitation is the fire, and hapless the abode of the wrong-doers.'.

4. جو اللہ کی حدود سے تجاوز کرے وہ فاسق ہیں" البقرۃ:

4. who transgresses the boundaries of allah: such are wrong-doers"al baqara:.

5. 17 اور اس سے بڑا ظالم کون ہے جو اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھے؟

5. 17 And who is a greater wrong-doer than he who invents a lie against Allah?

6. ’’اپنے بھائی کی مدد کرو خواہ وہ ظالم ہو یا ظالم‘‘ یہ _____ ہے۔

6. ‘Help your brother whether he is the wrong-doer or the wronged’ it is _____.

7. اور جو اللہ کی حدود سے تجاوز کرے گا وہی ظالم ہیں۔"

7. and whosoever transgresses the limits of allah, then such are the wrong-doers.".

8. اور دوسرے وقت میں نوح لوگ بھی۔ حقیقت میں، وہ اور بھی زیادہ شریر اور زیادہ باغی تھے۔

8. and also the people of nuh aforetime. verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious.

9. ظالموں کو ان کے (پرانے) ساتھیوں کی طرح عذاب میں سے حصہ ملے گا۔ تو مجھے جلدی مت کرو.

9. the wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows(of yore). so let them not rush me.

10. ایک ظالم زمینی گواہوں سے بچ سکتا ہے، لیکن وہ اس ایک زندگی سے نہیں بچ سکتا جس میں وہ رہتا ہے اور چلتا ہے اور اس کا وجود ہے۔

10. A wrong-doer may escape earthly witnesses, but he cannot escape this one life in which he lives and moves and has his being.

11. 192: اے ہمارے رب! تو جس کو آگ میں داخل کرے تو بے شک تو ذلیل و خوار ہوتا ہے اور ظالموں کو کبھی کوئی مددگار نہیں ملے گا۔

11. 192 "Our Lord! any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire, Truly Thou coverest with shame, and never will wrong-doers Find any helpers!

12. "اے ہمارے رب، تو جس کو آگ میں داخل کرے گا، بے شک تو ذلت سے چھا جائے گا، اور ظالموں کو کبھی کوئی مددگار نہیں ملے گا" 193۔

12. "Our Lord! any whom Thou Dost admit to the Fire, Truly Thou coverest with shame, And never will wrong-doers Find any helpers! 193.

13. میں واقعی چاہوں گا کہ آپ میرے اور آپ کے گناہ کو برداشت کریں، اور پھر آگ کے ساتھیوں میں سے ایک بن جائیں؛ یہ خرابیوں کا پیمانہ ہے۔

13. verily would that thou bear my sin and thine own sin, and then thou become of the fellows of the fire; that is the meed of the wrong-doers.

14. برے عمل کی سزا بھی اسی طرح کی برائی ہے۔ لیکن جو معاف کرے اور اصلاح کرے تو اس کا اجر اللہ کے پاس ہے۔ حقیقت میں، وہ بدکاروں کو منظور نہیں کرتا۔

14. the meed of an ill-deed is an ill the like thereunto; but whosoever pardoneth and amendeth, his hire is on allah; verily he approveth not the wrong-doers.

15. برے کام کا بدلہ بھی اسی طرح کی برائی ہے۔ لیکن جو معاف کر دے اور اصلاح کر لے تو اس کا اجر اللہ کے ذمہ ہے۔ دیکھیں! برے لوگوں کو پسند نہیں کرتے

15. the guerdon of an ill-deed is an ill the like thereof. but whosoever pardoneth and amendeth, his wage is the affair of allah. lo! he loveth not wrong-doers.

16. اور لوگو! جب انہوں نے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا تو ہم نے انہیں غرق کر دیا اور لوگوں کے لیے نشانی بنا دیا۔ اور ہم نے ظالموں کے لیے دردناک عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے۔

16. and the people of nuh! when they belied the apostles we drowned them, and made them a sign unto mankind. and we have gotten ready unto the wrong-doers a torment afflictive.

17. پچھلے کچھ سالوں سے میں مسلسل اس بات سے واقف رہا ہوں کہ ظالم کے پیچھے ایک طاقت ہوتی ہے، ایک گہری تنظیمی طاقت جو ہمیشہ قانون کی راہ میں کھڑی ہوتی ہے اور ظالم پر اپنی ڈھال ڈالتی ہے۔

17. for years past i have continually been conscious of some power behind the malefactor, some deep organising power which forever stands in the way of the law, and throws its shield over the wrong-doer.

18. اے نبی، پھر ان کو اس دن سے خبردار کر دو جو قریب آنے والا ہے، جس دن درد سے بھرے دل ان کے گلے لگ جائیں گے اور ظالموں کا کوئی سچا دوست اور سفارشی نہ ہوگا جس کی بات سنی جائے۔

18. o prophet, then warn them of the day that has drawn near, the day when hearts full of suppressed grief will leap up to the throats and the wrong-doers shall neither have any sincere friend nor intercessor whose word will be heeded.

19. اے نبی، پھر ان کو اس دن سے خبردار کر دو جو قریب آنے والا ہے، جس دن درد سے بھرے دل ان کے گلے لگ جائیں گے اور ظالموں کا کوئی سچا دوست اور سفارشی نہ ہوگا جس کی بات سنی جائے۔

19. o prophet, then warn them of the day that has drawn near, the day when hearts full of suppressed grief will leap up to the throats and the wrong-doers shall neither have any sincere friend nor intercessor whose word will be heeded.

20. اور ہم ان کو اس کا حکم دیتے ہیں: جان کے بدلے جان، آنکھ کے بدلے آنکھ، ناک کے بدلے ناک، کان کے بدلے کان، دانت کے بدلے دانت اور بدلے میں زخم، پھر جو اسے بھول جائے تو یہ اس کے لیے کفارہ ہے۔ اور جو اللہ کے نازل کردہ کے مطابق فیصلہ نہ کرے تو! وہ مجرم ہیں.

20. and we prescribed unto them therein: a life for a life, and an eye for an eye, and a nose for a nose, and an ear for an ear, and a tooth for a tooth, and wounds in reprisal, then whosoever forgoeth it, then it shall be for him an expiation. and whosoever judgeth not by that which allah hath sent down- those then! they are the wrong-doers.
