10. whosoever giveth thanks he only giveth thanks for his own soul; and whosoever is ungrateful then verily my lord is self-sufficient, munificent.

11. इसलिए वे अल्लाह की कृपा और अनुग्रह के साथ लौटे, कि कोई बुराई उन पर हावी न हुई; उन्होंने वही किया जो अल्लाह को भाता है; और अल्लाह बड़ा उदार है।

11. so they returned with the favour and munificence from allah, in that no harm reached them; they followed what pleased allah; and allah is extremely munificent.

12. इस प्रकार वे अल्लाह की कृपा और अनुग्रह के साथ लौट आए, और उन्हें कोई हानि नहीं हुई; उन्होंने वही किया जो अल्लाह को भाता है; और अल्लाह बड़ा उदार है।

12. so they returned with the favour and munificence from allah, in that no harm reached them; they followed what pleased allah; and allah is extremely munificent.

13. those who abandoned their homes for the cause of god and who then died or were murdered will receive honorable sustenance from god; he is the most generous and munificent.

14. they pray to allah:'our lord! do not let our hearts swerve towards crookedness after you have guided us to the right way, and. bestow upon us your mercy. surely you, only you, are the munificent giver!

15. yet when they see some merchandise or entertainment, they break away to go to it and leave you standing. say,"that which god has in store is far better than any merchandise or entertainment." god is the most munificent giver.

16. ऐ ईमान वालो! यदि तुम अल्लाह से डरते हो, तो वह तुम्हें (माध्यम) प्रदान करेगा, जिसके द्वारा तुम सत्य को असत्य से अलग करोगे, और वह तुम्हारे कुकर्मों को बरी कर देगा और तुम्हें क्षमा कर देगा; और अल्लाह बड़ा उदार है।

16. o people who believe! if you fear allah, he will bestow upon you(the criterion) that with which you will separate the truth from falsehood, and he will unburden your misdeeds and forgive you; and allah is the extremely munificent.

17. this is so that the disbelievers among people given the book(s) may know that they do not have any control over allah's munificence, and that the munificence is in allah's hand(control)- he bestows to whomever he wills; and allah is extremely munificent.

19. the one who had some knowledge of the book said: i shall bring it unto thee ere thy eye twinkleth. then when he saw it placed before him, he said: this is of the grace of my lord that he may prove me whether i give thanks or am ungrateful. whosoever giveth thanks he only giveth thanks for his own soul; and whosoever is ungrateful then verily my lord is self-sufficient, munificent.
