8. उसने अपने लोगों से हल्का होने का आग्रह किया और उन्होंने उसकी बात मानी। वे सचमुच एक दुष्ट लोग थे।

9. और हम ने कितने ही दुष्ट नगरोंको ढा दिया है, और उनके पीछे हम ने दूसरे लोगोंको बसाया है!

9. and how many a town which was iniquitous did we demolish, and we raised up after it another people!

10. 82 और अब से जितने [इस प्रतिज्ञा से] फिरते हैं, वे ही सचमुच अधर्मी हैं॥

10. 82 And, henceforth, all who turn away [from this pledge] - it is they, they who are truly iniquitous!"

11. वे अपनी जीभ से आपकी चापलूसी करते हैं, लेकिन उनका दिल आपसे प्यार नहीं करता, क्योंकि उनमें से ज्यादातर मतलबी हैं।

11. they flatter you with their tongues, but their hearts are averse to you, for most of them are iniquitous.

12. और हम ने कितने नगरोंको सत्यानाश करके दुष्टोंको सत्यानाश किया, और उनके पीछे दूसरे लोगोंको बसाया।

12. and how many a town we utterly destroyed(the people of) which were iniquitous, and we raised up after them another people.”.

13. और सब दुष्ट इकट्ठे हो गए, अर्थात् बत्ती, खंगेला, योनातान, और जो उसके संग हैं, वे चैन और हियाव से जीते हैं।

13. and all the iniquitous considered together, bathi,"khangela, jonathan, and those who are with him, live in quietude and confidence.

14. और जितने दुष्ट इकट्ठे हुए हैं, अर्थात् बत्ती, खंगेला, योनातान, और जो उसके संग हैं, वे चैन और हियाव से जीते हैं।

15. हे सारा ली, यहूदा की मृत्यु के बाद, दुष्ट इस्राएल के सभी भागों में उत्पन्न होने लगे, और वे उन सभी को प्रोत्साहित करने लगे जिन्होंने अधर्म किया था।

19. your lord would not destroy a town until he had sent to its centre a messenger who would recite to them our verses. nor would we destroy any town unless its inhabitants were iniquitous.
