4. ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ (ਦੁਸ਼ਟ) ਝਿੜਕ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

15. 31 ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੰਨ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

15. 31 The ear that heareth the reproofs of life, shall abide in the midst of the wise.

17. correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

18. he who refuses correction despises his own soul, but he who listens to reproof gets understanding.

19. ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ: "ਲਾਠੀ ਅਤੇ ਝਿੜਕ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਬੁੱਧ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ; ਪਰ ਢਿੱਲਾ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।"

19. in addition:"the rod and reproof are what give wisdom; but a boy let on the loose will be causing his mother shame.".
