1. ہم آسمان سے پاک پانی بھیجتے ہیں۔

1. we send down pure water from the sky.

2. اور ان پر پرندوں کے جھنڈ بھیج دو۔

2. and send down(to prey) upon them birds in flocks.

3. وہ تم پر آسمان سے موسلا دھار بارش برسائے گا۔

3. he will send down abundant rain from the sky for you.

4. تاکہ ہم ان پر پکی ہوئی مٹی کے پتھر اتر سکیں۔

4. that we may send down upon them stones of baked clay.

5. وہ تم پر آسمان سے موسلا دھار بارش برسائے گا۔

5. he will send down abundant rain for you from the sky.

6. بے شک وہ بھوکے ہیں۔ ان پر اپنا آسمانی دسترخوان نازل فرما۔

6. Verily, they hunger; send down unto them Thy heavenly table.

7. ’’یہ اس پانی کی طرح ہے جسے ہم آسمان سے نازل کرتے ہیں‘‘۔

8. یہ وہ وقت ہے جب آپ جڑیں اتارتے ہیں اور اپنے تعلق کا احساس تلاش کرتے ہیں۔

11. The likeness of the life of the present is as the rain which We send down from the skies:

12. ’’بے شک اس دنیاوی زندگی کی مثال اس بارش کی سی ہے جسے ہم آسمان سے برساتے ہیں۔

12. “Verily, the likeness of this worldly life is as the rain (water) which we send down from the sky….

13. بے شک (اس) دنیاوی زندگی کی مثال اس پانی کی سی ہے جسے ہم آسمان سے برساتے ہیں۔

13. Verily the likeness of (this) worldly life is as the water (rain) which We send down from the sky, so

14. اگر ہم کوئی فرشتہ بھیج دیں تو معاملہ فوراً طے ہو جائے گا اور کوئی مہلت نہ دی جائے گی۔

14. if we did send down an angel, the matter would be settled at once, and no respite would be granted them.

15. آپ ایک سمجھدار آدمی ہیں اور جان لیں گے کہ اس کے ساتھ کیسے نمٹا جائے تاکہ اس کا خون آلود سر قبر میں اتارا جائے۔"

15. You are a prudent man and will know how to deal with him to send down his hoary head in blood to the grave."

16. 18:45 ان کو دنیا کی زندگی کی مثال بیان کرو کہ وہ پانی کی طرح ہے جسے ہم آسمان سے اتارتے ہیں۔

16. 18/Al-Kahf-45: Give them an example of the life of the world that it is like water which We send down from the sky.

17. اگر ہماری مرضی ہوتی تو ہم ان پر آسمان سے ایک نشان بھیج دیتے جس کے سامنے وہ جھک جاتے۔

17. if were our will, we would send down to them from the sky a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility.

18. اگر ہم چاہیں تو ان پر آسمان سے کوئی ایسی نشانی بھیج سکتے ہیں جس سے ان کی گردنیں جھک جائیں‘‘ (قرآن 26:4)۔

19. اگر ہماری مرضی ہوتی تو ہم ان پر آسمان سے کوئی نشانی بھیج سکتے جس کے سامنے وہ عاجزی سے اپنی گردنیں جھکا لیتے۔

20. کیا تمہارا رب اس بات پر قادر ہے کہ ہم پر آسمان سے کھانے کا دسترخوان اتارے؟‘‘ اس نے کہا: ’’اللہ سے ڈرو، اگر تم مومن ہو‘‘۔

20. Is your Lord able to send down to us a table spread with food from heaven?" he said, "Fear Allah, if you be true believers."
