1. আমরা স্বর্গ থেকে বিশুদ্ধ পানি পাঠাই।

13. নিঃসন্দেহে পার্থিব জীবনের উপমা সেই পানির মতো যা আমি আকাশ থেকে বর্ষণ করি।

14. আমরা যদি একজন ফেরেশতা পাঠাই, তবে বিষয়টি অবিলম্বে নিষ্পত্তি করা হবে এবং কোন অবকাশ দেওয়া হবে না।

14. if we did send down an angel, the matter would be settled at once, and no respite would be granted them.

17. যদি আমাদের ইচ্ছা হতো, তাহলে আমরা তাদের কাছে স্বর্গ থেকে একটি নিদর্শন পাঠাতাম যার সামনে তারা বিনীতভাবে মাথা নত করবে।

18. আমরা চাইলে স্বর্গ থেকে তাদের কাছে একটি নিদর্শন পাঠাতে পারতাম যা তাদের ঘাড় নত রাখবে" (কুরআন 26:4)।

20. Is your Lord able to send down to us a table spread with food from heaven?" he said, "Fear Allah, if you be true believers."
