1. പുതിയതോ നല്ലതോ അല്ല;

1. neither cool, neither goodly;

2. നമ്മുടെ സ്വഹാബികളിൽ പലരും

2. a goodly number of our countrymen

3. നിധികളും നല്ല വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളും.

15. നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരും ഹേലമാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ആകുന്നതുവരെ അവരുടെ "നല്ല മാതാപിതാക്കൾ" ആയിരിക്കണം.

18. യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെയുള്ള നല്ല ദേശവും മനോഹരമായ ആ പർവതവും ലെബനോനും കാണാൻ എന്നെ അനുവദിക്കൂ.

19. ആരാണ് അല്ലാഹുവിന് നല്ല കടം കൊടുക്കുന്നത്, അത് അവനാൽ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കാനും അവന്റെ കൂലി മാന്യമായിരിക്കാനും?

19. who is he that will lend allah a goodly loan, so that he may multiply it for him, and his shall be a hire honourable?

20. if ye lend unto allah a goodly loan, he will double it for you and will forgive you, for allah is responsive, clement.
