2. അപകീർത്തിയുടെ ശിക്ഷ ആരുടെ മേലാണ്, ആരാണ് നുണയൻ എന്ന് ഉടൻ തന്നെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മനസ്സിലാകും!

2. soon will ye know who it is on whom descends the penalty of ignominy, and who is a liar!

3. എന്നാൽ ന്യായവിധിദിവസത്തിലെ ശിക്ഷ ഇരട്ടിയായിരിക്കും; അവൻ അതിൽ ലജ്ജിച്ചു വസിക്കും.

5. (എന്നാൽ) ന്യായവിധിയുടെ നാളിലെ ശിക്ഷ ഇരട്ടിയായിരിക്കും, അവൻ അതിൽ അപമാനിതനായി വസിക്കും.

6. അവനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ഈ ലോകത്ത് അത് അപമാനമാണ്, ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽപ്പിന്റെ നാളിൽ നാം അവനെ അഗ്നിജ്വാലയുടെ വിധി ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കും.

11. the article announcing it warned:“ who knows but that there may be some special trial, cup of suffering or ignominy, for the loyal followers of the lamb during 1915!”.

13. when our decree issued, we saved salih and those who believed with him, by(special) grace from ourselves- and from the ignominy of that day. for thy lord- he is the strong one,

14. അങ്ങനെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൽപ്പന പൂർത്തീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ സ്വാലിഹിനെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം വിശ്വസിച്ചവരെയും നമ്മുടെ കാരുണ്യത്താൽ അന്നത്തെ അപമാനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് നാം രക്ഷിച്ചു. ഇതാ, നിന്റെ യജമാനനേ! അവൻ ശക്തനും ശക്തനുമാണ്.

14. so, when our commandment came to pass, we saved salih, and those who believed with him, by a mercy from us, from the ignominy of that day. lo, thy lord! he is the strong, the mighty.

15. അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകൾ താഴ്ത്തപ്പെടും, നിന്ദ അവരെ മൂടും; അവർ ലോകജീവിതത്തിൽ ആരോഗ്യവാനും നല്ലവരുമായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ, കുമ്പിടാൻ (പ്രാർത്ഥനകൾ അർപ്പിക്കാൻ) വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടു, പക്ഷേ അവർ ചെയ്തില്ല.

15. their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate(offer prayers), while they were healthy and good in the life of the world, but they did not.

16. തന്റെ പള്ളികളിൽ ദൈവനാമം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് വിലക്കിയവനെക്കാളും ഭയഭക്തിയോടെ മാത്രം പ്രവേശിക്കാൻ അവകാശമുള്ളപ്പോൾ അവ കൊള്ളയടിക്കാൻ പാഞ്ഞടുക്കുന്നവനേക്കാൾ വലിയ അക്രമി ആരുണ്ട്? അവർക്ക് അത് ലോകത്തിൽ അപമാനവും പരലോകത്ത് കഠിനമായ ശിക്ഷയുമാണ്.

16. and who is more unjust than he who prohibits the name of god being used in his mosques, who hurries to despoil them even though he has no right to enter them except in reverence? for them is ignominy in the world and severe punishment in the life to come.

17. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ സങ്കേതങ്ങളിൽ അവന്റെ പേര് പരാമർശിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ അവിടേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനം വിലക്കുകയും അവയുടെ തകർച്ചയ്ക്കായി പോരാടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവനെക്കാൾ കൂടുതൽ ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ. അവരെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം, അവർ ഭയത്താൽ മാത്രം അതിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുമെന്ന് ഒരിക്കലും കരുതിയിരുന്നില്ല. ഇഹലോകത്ത് അവന് നിന്ദ്യവും പരലോകത്ത് അവന് ഭയങ്കരമായ ശാപവുമാണ്.

17. and who doth greater wrong than he who forbiddeth the approach to the sanctuaries of allah lest his name should be mentioned therein, and striveth for their ruin. as for such, it was never meant that they should enter them except in fear. theirs in the world is ignominy and theirs in the hereafter is an awful doom.
