1. அதற்கு யார் முரண்பட முடியும்?

1. and who can gainsay that?

2. ஆனால் ஆதாரம் இல்லாமல் வரும் முரண்பாடு அல்ல.

2. but not a gainsay that comes without evidence.

3. கடவுள் பயமுள்ள எந்த மனிதனும் முரண்படத் துணிய மாட்டான்.

3. which no god fearing man will dare to gainsay.

4. நமது சாலைகள் மரணப் பொறிகளாக மாறிவிட்டன என்பதில் சந்தேகமில்லை.

4. there is no gainsaying the fact that our roads have become death traps.

5. அவர் என் சந்தேகத்தை ஏற்கவில்லை அல்லது முரண்படவில்லை, மாறாக அவர் மற்றவர்களை அறிந்தவர் என்று உறுதியாகக் கூறினார்!

5. he would not countenance nor gainsay my suspicions, but asserted that he knew of others!

6. அது அல்லாஹ்வின் எதிரிகளின் பரிகாரம்: நெருப்பு. அவர்கள் வசிக்கும் இடம் உள்ளது: அவர்கள் நமது வெளிப்பாடுகளுக்கு முரணாக இருந்த அளவு.

6. that is the meed of the enemies of allah: the fire. therein is their home of abidence: a meed forasmuch as our revelations they were wont to gainsay.

7. அது அல்லாஹ்வின் எதிரிகளின் பரிகாரம்: நெருப்பு. அவர்களின் இருப்பிடம் உள்ளது: அவர்கள் நமது வெளிப்பாடுகளுக்கு முரணாக பயன்படுத்திய ஒரு நடவடிக்கை.

7. that is the meed of the enemies of allah: the fire. therein is their home of abidence: a meed forasmuch as our revelations they were wont to gainsay.

8. தங்கள் மதத்தை விளையாட்டாகவும் விளையாட்டாகவும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு உலக வாழ்க்கையை ஏமாற்றியவர்கள். அன்றைய சந்திப்பை அவர்கள் மறப்பது போலவும், அவர்கள் எப்பொழுதும் நமது சமிக்ஞைகளுக்கு முரணாக இருப்பது போலவும் இன்று நாம் அவர்களை மறந்து விடுவோம்.

8. who took their religion as a sport and a play and whom the life of the world beguiled. so today we will forget them even as they forget the meeting of this their day and as they were ever gainsaying our signs.

9. இந்த பொருத்தமின்மை இருந்தபோதிலும், இரு நாடுகளுக்கும் இடையே ஒரு பரந்த இடைவெளி உள்ளது என்பதில் சந்தேகமில்லை, இருதரப்பு அல்லது ஒருதலைப்பட்சவாதம் காஷ்மீர் தொடர்பான அவர்களின் 72 ஆண்டுகால சர்ச்சையை தீர்க்கவில்லை.

9. notwithstanding this mismatch, there is no gainsaying the fact that a wide gulf between the two countries persists, and neither bilateralism nor unilateralism have resolved their 72-year-old dispute over kashmir.

10. மேலும் அல்லாஹ் உங்களில் சிலரை மற்றவர்களை விட உணவு வழங்குவதில் முன்னுரிமை அளித்துள்ளான். பின்னர் விருப்பமானவர்கள் தங்கள் விஷயத்தில் தங்கள் வலது கையை சமமாக வைத்திருப்பவர்களுக்கு வழங்க மாட்டார்கள். அப்படியானால் அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளுக்கு முரண்படுவதா?

10. and allah hath preferred some of you over some other in provision; then those who are preferred are not going to hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess as to be equal in respect thereof. gainsay they then the favour of allah?
