1. ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮಾತಾ ಸತಿ ಈ ಯಜ್ಞದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

14. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ಅವನು ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಾತಿಯಾದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ, ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂದ್ರಾಣಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
