1. આવી કૃતજ્ઞતા આજે ખૂબ જ સામાન્ય છે.

1. such ingratitude is very prevalent today.

9. most people return small favors, acknowledge medium ones and repay great ones- with ingratitude.

10. ભગવાનને તેના સેવકોની કૃતજ્ઞતા ગમતી નથી: જો તમે આભારી છો, તો તે તમારાથી ખુશ થશે" (39:7).

10. god liketh not ingratitude from his servants: if ye are grateful, he is pleased with you.”(39:7).

11. મોટાભાગના લોકો નાની તરફેણ પરત કરે છે, મધ્યમ રાશિઓને સ્વીકારે છે અને કૃતજ્ઞતા સાથે મોટી તરફેણ કરે છે.

12. આમ અમે તેમને તેમની કૃતજ્ઞતા પરત કરીએ છીએ. અમે આમ કોઈને પણ ઈનામ આપતા નથી પરંતુ કૃત્રિમ લોકો.

12. we requited them in that way because of their ingratitude. we requite no one in that way but the ungrateful.

13. તે ફક્ત પુરુષોની આજ્ઞાભંગના પ્રતિભાવમાં છે, તેમની કૃતજ્ઞતા માટે, હું વિવિધ ડિગ્રીઓમાં સજા લાદું છું.

13. it is only in response to men's disobedience, their ingratitude, that i mete out chastisements in varying degrees.

15. thus did we retribute them for their ingratitude. and none do we retribute in this manner except the utterly ungrateful.

16. અથવા તમને ખાતરી છે કે તે તમને ફરીથી પાછા આવવા માટે નહીં, અને તમારા પર વાવાઝોડું છોડશે, અને તમારી કૃતજ્ઞતા માટે તમને ડૂબી જશે?

16. or are you confident that he will not return you to it once again, and unleash a hurricane against you, and drown you for your ingratitude?

17. જ્ઞાનીઓ પણ બેદરકારીથી પતન પામ્યા છે, અને જેઓ મારા મિત્ર લાગતા હતા તેઓ પણ તેમની કૃતઘ્નતાના કારણે નીચા પડી ગયા છે.”

17. Even the wise have fallen through negligence, and even those who seemed to be my friends have been brought low because of their ingratitude.”

18. અને અમે માણસને આ કુરાનમાં તમામ પ્રકારની સમાનતાઓ સમજાવી છે: છતાં મોટાભાગના માણસો કૃતઘ્નતા સિવાય (પ્રાપ્ત કરવાનો) ઇનકાર કરે છે!

18. and we have explained to man, in this koran, every kind of similitude: yet the greater part of men refuse(to receive it) except with ingratitude!

19. અને અમે માણસને આ કુરાનમાં દરેક પ્રકારની સામ્યતા સમજાવી છે: છતાં મોટાભાગના માણસો માત્ર કૃતઘ્નતાથી તેનો ઇનકાર કરે છે! "

19. and we have explained to man, in this qur'ān, every kind of similitude: yet the greater part of men refuse(to receive it) except with ingratitude!”.

20. અથવા તમને ખાતરી છે કે તે તમને પોતાની પાસે પાછો લાવશે અને તમારી સામે હિંસક તોફાન મોકલશે અને તમારી કૃતજ્ઞતા માટે તમને ડૂબી જશે?

20. or do you feel secure against him taking you back into it another time and sending a violent storm against you and drowning you for your ingratitude?
