10. ঈশ্বর তাঁর বান্দাদের অকৃতজ্ঞতা পছন্দ করেন না: যদি আপনি কৃতজ্ঞ হন তবে তিনি আপনার প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হবেন” (39:7)।

11. বেশীরভাগ মানুষ ছোট উপকার ফিরিয়ে দেয়, মাঝারিগুলোকে স্বীকার করে এবং বড়গুলোকে অকৃতজ্ঞতার সাথে ফিরিয়ে দেয়।

12. এইভাবে আমরা তাদের প্রতি তাদের অকৃতজ্ঞতা ফিরিয়ে দিই। এভাবে আমরা অকৃতজ্ঞ ছাড়া আর কাউকে পুরস্কৃত করি না।

16. or are you confident that he will not return you to it once again, and unleash a hurricane against you, and drown you for your ingratitude?

17. Even the wise have fallen through negligence, and even those who seemed to be my friends have been brought low because of their ingratitude.”

18. এবং আমরা এই কোরআনে মানুষকে সব ধরণের সাদৃশ্য ব্যাখ্যা করেছি: তবুও অধিকাংশ মানুষ অকৃতজ্ঞতা ছাড়া (গ্রহণ করতে) অস্বীকার করে!

18. and we have explained to man, in this koran, every kind of similitude: yet the greater part of men refuse(to receive it) except with ingratitude!

19. and we have explained to man, in this qur'ān, every kind of similitude: yet the greater part of men refuse(to receive it) except with ingratitude!”.

20. নাকি আপনি নিশ্চিত যে তিনি আপনাকে নিজের কাছে ফিরিয়ে আনবেন এবং আপনার বিরুদ্ধে হিংস্র ঝড় পাঠাবেন এবং আপনার অকৃতজ্ঞতার জন্য আপনাকে ডুবিয়ে দেবেন?

20. or do you feel secure against him taking you back into it another time and sending a violent storm against you and drowning you for your ingratitude?
