1. his friends entreated him not to go

2. And others came also and entreated him.

3. તેણે યહોવાને વિનંતી કરી: “મને તમારા સત્યમાં ચાલવા દો.”

3. he entreated jehovah:“ make me walk in your truth.”.

4. તેથી તેણે કહ્યું, વિનંતી કરી, તે જાણતા ન હતા કે તે તેના પોતાના વિનાશ માટે ભીખ માંગી રહ્યો હતો.

4. so he spake, entreating, nor knew that for his own doom he entreated.

5. આ વિશે મેં ત્રણ વખત ભગવાનને વિનંતી કરી, પ્રાર્થના કરી કે તે મને છોડી દે.

5. about this i three times entreated the lord, praying that it might leave me.

6. પાઊલે લખ્યું, "ત્રણ વાર મેં પ્રભુને વિનંતી કરી કે મારાથી દૂર થઈ જાઓ."

6. paul wrote:“ i three times entreated the lord that it might depart from me.”.

7. અને તેણે તેને પ્રદેશમાંથી બહાર ન કાઢવા માટે ઘણી પ્રાર્થના કરી.

7. and he entreated him greatly, so that he would not expel him from the region.

8. તેથી જ મેં ભગવાનને મારાથી દૂર જવા માટે ત્રણ વખત પ્રાર્થના કરી.

8. in this behalf i three times entreated the lord that it might depart from me.”.

9. સંત પૌલે વિનંતી કરી: "તમારા શરીરને જીવંત બલિદાન તરીકે રજૂ કરો, પવિત્ર, ભગવાનને સ્વીકાર્ય".

9. paul entreated:“ present your bodies a sacrifice living, holy, acceptable to god.”.

10. એક પ્રસંગે એક રક્તપિત્તે તેને વિનંતી કરી: "જો તમે ઈચ્છો તો, તમે મને શુદ્ધ કરી શકો છો".

10. on one occasion a leper entreated him:“ if you just want to, you can make me clean.”.

11. પછી તેણે કહ્યું, "ત્રણ વાર મેં ભગવાન [યહોવાને] મારાથી દૂર રહેવા વિનંતી કરી."

11. then, he said:“ i three times entreated the lord[ jehovah] that it might depart from me.”.

12. અને તેઓ પણ ભગવાન તરફ વળશે, અને તે તેમની સારવાર કરશે અને તેમને સાજા કરશે.

12. and they shall return even to the lord, and he will be entreated by them and will heal them.

13. અને આત્માઓએ તેની સાથે વિનંતી કરી, "અમને ભૂંડો મોકલો, જેથી અમે અંદર જઈએ."

13. and the spirits entreated him, saying:“send us into the swine, so that we may enter into them.”.

14. and they came and besought them, and bringing them out, entreated them to depart out of the city.

16. for he shall be delivered unto the gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on.
