4. আমার কাছে মনে হচ্ছে আপনি খুব বেশি প্রতিবাদ করছেন।

5. সে কি তাদের গ্রাস করে না?

5. doth he not consume and devour them?

6. যে ক্ষমা করে না তাকে ক্ষমা করো না,

6. he doth not forgive the unforgiving,

7. না সে (তার নিজের) ইচ্ছার কথা বলে না।

7. nor doth he speak of(his own) desire.

8. সে মারা গেলে দশম হবে।

8. So shall the tenth when she doth die.

9. আর কেন সে ধন্যবাদ দেয়?

9. And why doth he therefore give thanks?

10. এখানে সেই গাছ যেখানে সত্য জন্মায়,

10. Here is the tree where truth doth grow,

11. কিন্তু আল্লাহ তাদের পেছন থেকে ঘিরে রেখেছেন!

11. but allah doth encompass them from behind!

12. তারপর এটি বাদামী খোঁড়াতে পরিণত হয়।

12. and then doth make it(but) swarthy stubble.

13. এবং যে আমার সাথে কুড়ান না, ছিন্নভিন্ন!

13. and he who doth not gather with me scattered!

14. যারা কৃতজ্ঞ তাদের কি আল্লাহ ভালো জানেন না?

14. doth not god know best those who are grateful?

15. এবং যদিও মানবজাতি এই ধরনের কিছু শেখায় না;

15. and whereas mankind doth not teach such things;

16. যা না পুষ্ট করে না ক্ষুধা থেকে মুক্তি দেয়।

16. which doth not nourish nor release from hunger.

17. আল্লাহ কি কৃতজ্ঞদের ভাল জানেন না?

17. Doth not Allah know best those who are grateful?

18. তিনি কি আমার পথ দেখেন না এবং তিনি কি আমার সমস্ত পদক্ষেপ গণনা করেন না?

18. doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?

19. বলো, তাহলে তোমার পাপের জন্য সে তোমাকে শাস্তি দেবে কেন?

19. say: why then doth he chastise you for your sins?

20. এবং সে তোমাকে তোমার মায়ের চেয়েও বেশি ভালবাসবে।"

20. And he shall love thee more than thy mother doth."
