15. اور یشوع نے اُس وقت اُن کو تسلی دی اور کہا کہ اُس آدمی پر جو اُٹھ کر یریحو کے شہر کو بناتا ہے خُداوند پر لعنت ہو۔ وہ اُس کی بنیاد اپنے پہلوٹھے پر رکھے گا، اور اپنے سب سے چھوٹے بیٹے پر اُس کے دروازے کھڑا کرے گا۔

16. اے انسانیت! اپنے رب سے بچو جس نے تمہیں ایک جان سے پیدا کیا اور اسی سے اس کا جوڑا بنایا اور ان دونوں سے بہت سے مرد اور عورتیں بکھیر دیں۔ اللہ سے ہوشیار رہو جس کے نام پر تم دعا کرتے ہو اور رشتہ داروں سے رشتہ توڑتے ہو۔ اللہ یقیناً تمہاری سن رہا ہے۔

16. o mankind! be wary of your lord who created you from a single soul, and created its mate from it, and from the two of them scattered numerous men and women. be wary of allah, in whose name you adjure one another and[of severing ties with] blood relations. indeed allah is watchful over you.
