1. எனவே, நீங்கள் திருப்பிச் செலுத்தப்பட மாட்டீர்கள் என்றால்.

1. wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited.

2. நீங்கள் சம்பாதித்ததைத் தவிர உங்களுக்கு வெகுமதி கிடைக்குமா?

2. will you be requited except for what you used to earn?

12. in this wise we requited them for they were ungrateful. and we requite not thus any save the ungrateful infidels.

13. in this wise we requited them for they were ungrateful. and we requite not thus any save the ungrateful infidels.

14. பகிரங்கமாகவோ அல்லது இரகசியமாகவோ பாவம் செய்வதைத் தவிர்க்கவும். உண்மையில், பாவங்களைச் செய்பவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் செய்த அனைத்திற்கும் நிச்சயமாக வெகுமதி கிடைக்கும்.

14. abstain from sin, be it either open or secret. indeed those who commit sins shall surely be requited for all they have done.

19. like this we requited them because they were ungrateful disbelievers. and never do we requit in such a way except those who are ungrateful,

20. பூமியில் உங்கள் தேவையற்ற ஆணவத்திற்காகவும், நீங்கள் மீறியதற்காகவும் இன்று உங்களுக்கு அவமானகரமான பழிவாங்கும் வெகுமதி கிடைக்கும்.

20. so today you will be requited with a humiliating punishment for your acting arrogantly in the earth unduly, and because you used to transgress.
