2. ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ

3. ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਡੋ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡੋ;

3. and cleaved the earth, cleaving it asunder;

4. ਘੰਟਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

4. the hour drew nigh and the moon did rend asunder.

5. ਘੰਟਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

5. the hour drew nigh and the moon did rend asunder.”!

6. ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ; ਉਹ ਟੁਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਟ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

6. they had to be burst asunder; they were burst asunder.

7. ਆਖਰੀ ਘੜੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

7. the last hour draws near and the moon is split asunder.

8. ਕਿ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ

8. those whom God hath joined together let no man put asunder

9. ਘੜੀ (ਨਿਰਣੇ ਦਾ) ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

9. the hour(of judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder.

10. ਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

10. the hour of doom is drawing near and the moon is rent asunder.

11. ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਲਗਭਗ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਟ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ,

11. the heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder,

12. ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

12. and the heaven will split asunder, for that day it will be frail.

13. ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

13. and the heaven will split asunder, for that day it will be frail.

14. ਫਿਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੰਡਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ?

14. then we clove them asunder, and made from water every living thing?

15. ਇੱਕ ਵਕੀਲ ਦਾ ਅਸਲ ਕੰਮ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ "ਵੰਡੀਆਂ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਜੁੱਟ ਕਰਨਾ" ਜਾਪਦਾ ਸੀ।

15. the true function of a lawyer seemed to him“to unite parties riven asunder.”.

16. ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਪਾਟ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

16. And earth shall be rent asunder, and all that is upon the earth shall perish.

17. ਫਿਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਜੀਵਿਤ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ।

17. then we clove them asunder and we created every living thing out of the water.

18. ਅਸਮਾਨ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ? ਉਸ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

18. whereon the sky will be cleft asunder? his promise needs must be accomplished.

19. ਸਵਰਗ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰੇਗਾ; ਉਸਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

19. the heaven shall rend asunder thereby; his promise is ever brought to fulfillment.

20. ਉਹ ਸਮਝ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਵਕੀਲ ਦਾ ਅਸਲ ਕੰਮ "ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨਾ" ਹੈ।

20. he understood that the true function of a lawyer was“to unite parties riven asunder.”.
