1. یہ ایک انتہائی ذلت ہے.

1. that is the extreme abasement.

2. وہاں رہنے کے لئے جہنم؟ یہ دردناک ذلت ہے.

2. of hell to abide in it? that is the grievous abasement.

5. my captivity is not my abasement: by my life, it is indeed a glory unto me!

6. آنکھیں خوفزدہ، ذلت انہیں بے حس کر رہی ہے: یہی وہ دن ہے جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا گیا ہے۔

6. with eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: such is the day which they are promised.

7. اس نے اپنی آنکھوں کو ذلیل کیا، انہیں ذلت سے ڈھانپ لیا۔ یہ وہ دن ہے جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا گیا تھا۔

7. humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. that is the day which they were promised.

8. قیامت کے دن اس کو دوگنا عذاب دیا جائے گا اور وہ ذلیل و خوار ہو کر رہے گا۔

8. the punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement;

9. آنکھیں نیچی، ذلت نے انہیں بے حس کر دیا۔ اور انہیں سجدہ کے لیے بلایا گیا تھا جب وہ ابھی زخمی نہیں ہوئے تھے۔

9. with eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. and they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt.

10. آنکھیں نیچی، ذلت نے انہیں بے حس کر دیا۔ اور انہیں سجدہ کے لیے بلایا گیا تھا جب وہ ابھی زخمی نہیں ہوئے تھے۔

10. with eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. and they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt.

11. جو لوگ بچھڑے کی پرستش کرتے تھے ان کو اس زندگی میں اپنے رب کے غضب اور ذلت کا سامنا کرنا پڑا اور ہم جعل سازوں کو بدلہ دیتے ہیں۔

11. those who worshipped the calf incurred the anger of their lord and abasement in this life, and as such we recompense the forgers.

12. ان کی آنکھیں جھک جائیں گی، اور ذلت ان پر چھا جائے گی، کیونکہ جب وہ صحت مند تھے تو انہیں سجدہ کرنے کے لیے بلایا گیا تھا۔

12. humbled shall be their eyes, and abasement shall overspread them, for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole.

13. ان کے چہروں پر نہ خاک چھپے گی نہ ذلت۔ وہ جنت کے باشندے ہوں گے اور وہیں ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔

13. neither dust nor abasement shall overcast their faces. they shall be the inhabitants of paradise, and they shall remain in it forever.

14. ان کی آنکھیں جھک جائیں گی، اور ذلت ان پر چھا جائے گی، کیونکہ جب وہ صحت مند تھے تو انہیں سجدہ کرنے کے لیے بلایا گیا تھا۔

14. humbled shall be their eyes, and abasement shall overspread them, for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole.

15. پس آج تم کو ذلت کی سزا ملے گی کیونکہ تم نے زمین پر ناحق غرور کیا اور اس وجہ سے کہ تم نے زیادتی کی۔

15. so today you shall be rewarded with the punishment of abasement because you were unjustly proud in the land and because you transgressed.

16. پس ہم ان پر اندھیرے کے دنوں میں ایک تیز آندھی بھیجتے ہیں تاکہ انہیں دنیا کی زندگی میں ذلت کے عذاب کا مزہ چکھائیں۔ اور یقیناً آخرت کا عذاب اس سے بھی زیادہ ذلیل کرنے والا ہے اور وہ نجات نہیں پائیں گے۔

16. so we sent on them a furious wind in unlucky days, that we may make them taste the chastisement of abasement in this world's life; and certainly the chastisement of the hereafter is much more abasing, and they shall not be helped.

17. اس طرح ہم ان پر برے دنوں میں ایک تیز آندھی بھیجتے ہیں تاکہ انہیں دنیا کی زندگی میں ذلت کے عذاب کا مزہ چکھائیں۔ اور یقیناً آخرت کا عذاب اس سے بھی زیادہ ذلیل کرنے والا ہے اور وہ نجات نہیں پائیں گے۔

18. you will see them being exposed to it, humbled by abasement, furtively looking askance. the faithful will say,‘indeed the losers are those who have ruined themselves and their families on the day of resurrection. indeed, the wrongdoers will abide in lasting punishment.

19. آپ انہیں اس کے سامنے بے نقاب، ذلت سے ذلیل، ایک طرف نظریں چراتے ہوئے دیکھیں گے۔ مومن کہیں گے: "بے شک نقصان اٹھانے والے وہ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے گھر والوں کو قیامت کے دن کھو دیا۔ درحقیقت ظالم لوگ دائمی عذاب میں رہیں گے۔
