7. (13) ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸਤ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਹੈ?

7. (13) seest thou not those who take for friends a people with whom allah is wroth?

15. for i will not contend for ever, neither will i be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which i have made.

17. hast thou not seen those who take for friends a folk with whom allah is wroth? they are neither of you nor of them, and they swear a false oath knowingly.

18. ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਬਹਿਸ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਮੇਰਾ ਕੀ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਹੈ? ਮੇਰਾ ਕੀ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੰਨਾ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਕੀਤਾ?

18. and jacob was wroth, and chode with laban: and jacob answered and said to laban, what is my trespass? what is my sin, that thou hast so hotly pursued after me?

20. o you who believe, take not for friends people with whom allah is wroth- they indeed despair of the hereafter, as the disbelievers despair of those in the graves.
