4. And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they [are] the children of whoredoms.

5. میں نے اسرائیل کے گھرانے میں ایک ہولناک چیز دیکھی: وہاں افرائیم کی حرامکاری ہے، اسرائیل ناپاک ہے۔

5. i have seen an horrible thing in the house of israel: there is the whoredom of ephraim, israel is defiled.

6. میں افرائیم کو جانتا ہوں اور اسرائیل مجھ سے پوشیدہ نہیں ہے۔ کیونکہ اَے افرائیم، تُو بدکاری کرتا ہے، اور اسرائیل ناپاک ہے۔

6. i know ephraim, and israel is not hid from me: for now, o ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and israel is defiled.

7. اب اُن کی زناکاری اور اُن کے بادشاہوں کی لاشیں مجھ سے دُور ہو جائیں اور میں اُن کے درمیان ہمیشہ رہوں گا۔

7. now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and i will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

8. اب اُن کی زناکاری اور اُن کے بادشاہوں کی لاشیں مجھ سے دور ہو جائیں اور مَیں اُن کے درمیان ہمیشہ رہوں گا۔

8. now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and i will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

9. اور تیرے بچے بیابان میں چالیس برس تک بھٹکتے رہیں گے اور تیری زناکاری برداشت کریں گے جب تک کہ تیری لاشیں بیابان میں نہ کھا جائیں۔

9. and your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.

10. پس اسرائیل کے گھرانے سے کہو، خداوند خدا یوں فرماتا ہے۔ کیا تم اپنے باپوں کی طرح آلودہ ہو؟ اور اپنے مکروہ کاموں کے مطابق زنا کیا؟

10. wherefore say unto the house of israel, thus saith the lord god; are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?

11. اور بابل کے لوگ اس کے پاس محبت کے بستر پر آئے اور اسے اپنی زناکاریوں سے ناپاک کیا اور وہ ان سے ناپاک ہو گئی اور اس کی روح ان سے دور ہو گئی۔

11. and the babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.

12. کچھ مرد جسم فروشی کے نہیں بلکہ روایت پسندی کے ذریعے اختیار کیے گئے راستے کو ترجیح دیں گے، یا کم از کم کسی ایسی چیز کی شکل جو پہلے ہی پیچھے رہ گئی ہے اور بظاہر کبھی واپس نہیں آئے گی۔

14. میں تمھاری بیٹیوں کو جب وہ زنا کرتی ہیں تو ان کو سزا نہیں دوں گا اور نہ ہی تمہاری بیویوں کو جب وہ زنا کریں گی۔ اس لیے جو لوگ نہیں سمجھتے وہ گر جائیں گے۔

14. i will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall.

15. وہ پہاڑوں کی چوٹیوں پر قربانیاں چڑھاتے ہیں، اور پہاڑیوں پر، بلوط، چنار اور ایلم کے نیچے بخور جلاتے ہیں، کیونکہ ان کا سایہ اچھا ہے۔ اس لیے تمہاری بیٹیاں زنا کریں گی، اور تمہاری بیویاں زنا کریں گی۔

15. they sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.

16. لیکن تم نے اسرائیل کے بادشاہوں کی راہ پر چل کر یہوداہ اور یروشلم کے باشندوں کے ساتھ اخی اب کے گھرانے کی بدکاری کی طرح زنا کیا اور اپنے باپ کے خاندان کے بھائیوں کو بھی قتل کیا جو تم سے بہتر تھے۔

16. but hast walked in the way of the kings of israel, and hast made judah and the inhabitants of jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father's house, which were better than thyself.

17. اور اس نے مجھے بتایا کہ اے ابن آدم، میرے تخت کی جگہ اور میرے پاؤں کے تلوے کی جگہ جہاں میں بنی اسرائیل کے درمیان ہمیشہ رہوں گا، اور میرا مقدس نام، اسرائیل کا گھرانہ مزید ناپاک نہیں ہو گا۔ ، نہ وہ اور نہ ان کے بادشاہوں کے ساتھ، نہ ان کی بدکاریوں کے ساتھ، نہ ان کے بادشاہوں کی لاشوں کے ساتھ ان کے اونچے مقامات پر۔

17. and he said unto me, son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where i will dwell in the midst of the children of israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
