1. ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਢੱਕੋਗੇ।

2. ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਗੇ :.

2. thou shalt not make with them:.

3. ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੇਖਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣੋਗੇ,

3. thou shalt not be a perpetrator,

4. ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੱਚੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਾਓਗੇ।

4. thou shalt make thee no molten gods.

5. ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਬੁਰਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

5. shalt put away the evil from Israel.

6. ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੌਂੋਗੇ।

6. thou shalt not sleep with his pledge.

7. ਅਤੇ (ਤੂੰ) ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਯਿਸੂ ਰੱਖਣਾ।

7. and (thou) shalt call his name Jesus.”

8. ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ

8. thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself

9. ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

9. and thou shalt be allowed in yonder city.

10. ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਉਂ ਆਖੀਂ,

10. Thus shalt thou say to the sons of Israel,

11. ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਵੀਂ।

11. And thou shalt command the sons of Israel.

12. ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਓਸਕ ਬਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਗੇ।

12. thou shalt not complain from the bandstand.

13. ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਉਂ ਆਖੀਂ,

13. Thus shalt thou say unto the sons of Israel,

14. ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੋਗੇ।

14. and, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

15. ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੋਈ ਪਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

15. thou shalt have no other husbands besides me.

16. ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਜ ਨਾਲ ਉਧਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।

16. thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother;

17. 10ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ,

17. 10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth,

18. “ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।” 9

18. “And on this day thou shalt do none other thing.”9

19. ਛੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

19. six days shalt thou labor and do all thou art able.

20. \v 9 ਤਦ ਤੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ।
