1. ਮਖੌਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਭਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ,

3. ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਖੌਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

3. he that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame:

4. ਜਦੋਂ ਮਖੌਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਭੋਲਾ 1 ਸਿਆਣਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ;
