1. اسے اس سے کچھ منظوری لینا ہوگی۔

3. ہیں! ان کا حق یہ ہے کہ ان پر اللہ اور فرشتوں اور تمام انسانوں کی لعنت ہو۔

5. اللہ نے فرمایا: چلے جاؤ۔ پس ان میں سے جو بھی آپ کی پیروی کرے گا، وہ آپ کی روٹی، ایک چوڑی روٹی جہنم ہے۔

5. allah said: be thou gone; then who soever of them followeth thee, hell is your meed, a meed ample.

6. پھر، وہ بہت کم ہنسیں گے، اور بہت زیادہ روئیں گے: جو کچھ انہوں نے کمایا اس کا بدلہ۔

6. little then let them laugh, and much they shall weep: the meed of that which they have been earning.

7. ابدی باغات جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں: ان کے باشندے یہ اس کا پیمانہ ہے جس نے اپنے آپ کو پاک کیا۔

7. gardens everlasting whereunder rivers flow: abiders therein; that is the meed of him who hath purified himself.

8. میں واقعی چاہوں گا کہ آپ میرے اور آپ کے گناہ کو برداشت کریں، اور پھر آگ کے ساتھیوں میں سے ایک بن جائیں؛ یہ خرابیوں کا پیمانہ ہے۔

8. verily would that thou bear my sin and thine own sin, and then thou become of the fellows of the fire; that is the meed of the wrong-doers.

9. کیونکہ وہ انہیں وہ ادا کرے گا جس کے وہ مستحق ہیں، نہیں، وہ انہیں اپنی سخاوت کا زیادہ حصہ دے گا: کیونکہ وہ اکثر خوش مزاج، خدمت کی تعریف کرنے کے لیے بہت تیار ہے۔

9. for he will pay them their meed, nay, he will give them(even) more out of his bounty: for he is oft-forgiving, most ready to appreciate service.

10. یہ اللہ کے دشمنوں کا علاج ہے: آگ۔ وہیں ان کی رہائش ہے: ایک پیمانہ جہاں تک انہوں نے ہمارے انکشافات کی مخالفت کی ہے۔

10. that is the meed of the enemies of allah: the fire. therein is their home of abidence: a meed forasmuch as our revelations they were wont to gainsay.

11. یہ اللہ کے دشمنوں کا علاج ہے: آگ۔ وہاں ان کا مقیم ہے: ایک پیمانہ جیسا کہ وہ ہماری آیتوں سے متصادم ہوتے تھے۔

11. that is the meed of the enemies of allah: the fire. therein is their home of abidence: a meed forasmuch as our revelations they were wont to gainsay.

12. وہ! اس کا کھانا اس کے رب کی بخشش اور باغات ہیں جن میں نہریں بہتی ہیں۔ وہ وہاں رہیں گے. کارکنوں کا کرایہ بہت اچھا ہے!

12. those! their meed is forgiveness from their lord and gardens whereunder rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. excellent is the hire of the workers!

13. برے عمل کی سزا بھی اسی طرح کی برائی ہے۔ لیکن جو معاف کرے اور اصلاح کرے تو اس کا اجر اللہ کے پاس ہے۔ حقیقت میں، وہ بدکاروں کو منظور نہیں کرتا۔

13. the meed of an ill-deed is an ill the like thereunto; but whosoever pardoneth and amendeth, his hire is on allah; verily he approveth not the wrong-doers.

14. یہ ان کا کھانا ہو گا کیونکہ انہوں نے ہماری نشانیوں پر یقین نہیں کیا اور کہا کہ جب ہم ہڈیاں اور ٹکڑے ہو جائیں گے تو یقیناً ہم ایک نئی مخلوق بن کر اٹھیں گے۔

14. this shall be their meed because they disbelieved in our signs and said when we have become bones and fragments, shall we in sooth be raised up a new creation!

15. جہاں تک مردوں کے چور اور عورتوں کے چوروں کا تعلق ہے تو ان کے ہاتھ کاٹ دو ان کی کمائی کے بدلے میں۔ اللہ کی طرف سے ایک مثالی سزا۔ اور اللہ زبردست، حکمت والا ہے۔

15. as for the man-thief and the woman-thief, cut off their hands as a meed for that which they have earned; an exemplary punishment from allah. and allah is mighty, wise.

16. اور نہ تمہارا مال اور نہ تمہاری اولاد تمہیں ہمارے قریب کرے گی لیکن جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرے تو وہ لوگ! انہوں نے جس کام کے لیے کام کیا ہے اس کی دوگنی اجرت انہیں ملے گی، اور وہ اعلیٰ ایوانوں میں محفوظ رہیں گے۔

16. and it is not your riches nor your children that shall draw you nigh unto us with a near approach, but whoso ever believeth and worketh righteously- then those! theirs shall be a twofold meed for that which they will have worked, and they will be in upper apartments secure.
