1. جس کے بعد ان سے کہا جائے گا: یہ وہی ہے جو تم استعمال کرتے تھے۔

1. whereafter they will be told:“this is what you used

2. پیلا ہو جاتا ہے، جس کے بعد یہ اسے ٹوٹے ہوئے تنکے میں بدل دیتا ہے؟

2. turning yellow, whereafter he reduces it to broken straw?

3. رہا وہ لوگ جنہوں نے اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کی، جس کے بعد وہ مارے گئے۔

3. as for those who migrated in the way of allah, whereafter they were slain,

4. جس کے بعد ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ تم اسی کو جھٹلاتے تھے۔

4. whereafter they will be told:“this is what you used to give the lie to.”.

5. وہ فوراً چوکنا ہو جاتے ہیں، جس کے بعد انہیں صحیح راستہ معلوم ہو جاتا ہے۔

5. they instantly become alert, whereafter they clearly perceive the right way.

6. انہیں مختلف ٹکڑوں میں تقسیم کرتا ہے، جس کے بعد آپ ان سے بارش کے قطرے گرتے ہوئے دیکھتے ہیں۔

6. splits them into different fragments, whereafter you see drops of rain pouring down from them.

7. رات کا کھانا لکڑی کی ایک لمبی میز پر لیا گیا، جس کے بعد ہم نے کڑکتی ہوئی آگ کے سامنے شراب پی۔

7. dinner was taken at a long wooden table, whereafter we sipped liqueurs in front of a roaring fire

8. اس نے کہا کہ ہم برائی کرنے والے کو سزا دیں گے اس کے بعد وہ اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹا جائے گا اور سخت سزا دی جائے گی۔

8. he said:"we will chastise him who does wrong, whereafter he will be returned to his lord and he will chastise him grievously.

9. اس نے کہا: "ہم برائی کرنے والے کو سزا دیں گے، اس کے بعد وہ اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹا جائے گا اور سخت سزا دی جائے گی۔"

9. he said:"we will chastise him who does wrong, whereafter he will be returned to his lord and he will chastise him grievously.

10. رسول کو صرف پیغام پہنچانے کی ضرورت ہے، اس کے بعد جو کچھ تم ظاہر کرتے ہو اور جو کچھ تم چھپاتے ہو اللہ اسے خوب جانتا ہے۔

10. the messenger is bound only to deliver the message, whereafter allah knows well all that you disclose and all that you conceal.

11. اس کے بعد، آپ کو اکاؤنٹ کو مناسب وقت کے اندر چلانے کے لیے رقوم بھیجنی ہوں گی، جس کے بعد صرف چیک بک جاری کی جائیں گی۔

11. subsequently, he must remit funds to make the account operative within a reasonable time, whereafter only cheque book will be issued.

12. اگر پرہیزگاروں کو شیطان کی کوئی تجویز آجائے تو وہ فوراً ہوشیار ہو جاتے ہیں، جس کے بعد انہیں سیدھی راہ کا اندازہ ہو جاتا ہے۔

12. if the god-fearing are instigated by any suggestion of satan, they instantly become alert, whereafter they clearly perceive the right way.

13. پھر خدا نے اسے سو سال کے لیے مروا دیا۔ اس پر اس نے اسے دوبارہ زندہ کیا [اور] کہا کہ تم کب سے ایسے ہو؟

13. thereupon god caused him to be dead for a hundred years; whereafter he brought him back to life[and] said:"how long hast thou remained thus?"?

14. رہا وہ لوگ جنہوں نے اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کی، جس کے بعد وہ مارے گئے یا مر گئے، اللہ ان کو ضرور اچھا رزق دے گا۔ درحقیقت اللہ سب سے بہتر رزق دینے والا ہے۔

14. as for those who migrated in the way of allah, whereafter they were slain, or died, allah will certainly grant them a goodly provision. indeed, allah is the best of all those who provide.

15. رہا وہ لوگ جنہوں نے اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کی، جس کے بعد وہ مارے گئے یا مر گئے، اللہ انہیں ضرور اچھا رزق دے گا۔ درحقیقت اللہ سب سے بہتر رزق دینے والا ہے۔

15. as for those who migrated in the way of allah, whereafter they were slain, or died, allah will certainly grant them a goodly provision. indeed, allah is the best of all those who provide.

16. اور یاد کرو جب اللہ نے ان لوگوں سے فرض لیا جن کو کتاب دی گئی تھی، تم اسے ضرور لوگوں کے سامنے ظاہر کرو گے اور اسے چھپاؤ گے نہیں۔ جس کے بعد انہوں نے اسے اپنی پیٹھ کے پیچھے پھینک دیا اور تھوڑی قیمت پر اس کا سودا کیا۔ ناپاک ہے جس کے لئے انہوں نے سودا کیا۔

16. and recall what time allah took a bond from those who were vouchsafed the book: ye shall surely expound it to the people and ye shall hide it not; whereafter they cast it behind their backs, and bartered it for a small price. vile is that wherewith they have bartered.

17. اللہ تعالیٰ ایسی ہوائیں بھیجتا ہے جو بادلوں کو ہلا دیتی ہیں اور پھر جس طرح چاہتا ہے آسمان پر پھیلا دیتا ہے اور ان کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیتا ہے جس کے بعد تم دیکھتے ہو کہ ان سے بارش کے قطرے گرتے ہیں۔ پھر وہ جن بندوں پر چاہتا ہے بارش برسا دیتا ہے، اور دیکھو وہ خوش ہوتے ہیں۔

17. allah sends the winds that stir up clouds and then he spreads them in the sky as he pleases and splits them into different fragments, whereafter you see drops of rain pouring down from them. he then causes the rain to fall on whomsoever of his servants he pleases, and lo, they rejoice at it.
