1. "ಓ ಭಿಕ್ಷುಗಳೇ, ಅನೇಕರ ಒಳಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡಿ,

1. "Go forth,O Bhikkhus,for the good of many,

2. ಇದೇ ಈ ಭಿಕ್ಷುಗಳ ಸಂಘ, ಇದೇ ಸಭೆ.

2. Such is this Sangha of Bhikkhus, such is this assembly.

3. ಮತ್ತು ಭಿಕ್ಷುಗಳೇ, ನಾನು ಇಷ್ಟು ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಕಲಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ?

3. And why, bhikkhus, have I not taught those many things?

4. ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರನೆಯ ಬಾರಿ ಭಿಕ್ಷುಗಳು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
