1. ان سے پوچھو کہ کیا انہوں نے تمام بے دینی سے خود کو جھٹلایا ہے؟

1. Ask them if they have denied themselves from all ungodliness?

2. ان کی شادی بے دینی کے ساتھ ہمارے خداوند یسوع مسیح کی طرح ہم آہنگ ہوگی۔

2. Their marriage will be as harmonious as our Lord Jesus Christ with ungodliness.

3. لیکن بے ہودہ اور فضول باتوں سے پرہیز کرو، کیونکہ وہ مزید بے حیائی میں اضافہ کریں گے۔

3. but shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

4. ہمیں سکھاتا ہے کہ، بے دینی اور دنیاوی خواہشات کو ترک کرتے ہوئے، ہمیں اس دنیا میں ہوشیاری، راستبازی اور پرہیزگاری سے رہنا ہے۔

4. teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

5. اور اس طرح تمام اسرائیل بچ جائیں گے۔ جیسا کہ لکھا ہے، نجات دینے والا صیون سے نکلے گا، اور یعقوب سے بدی کو دور کرے گا۔

5. and so all israel shall be saved: as it is written, there shall come out of sion the deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from jacob.
