7. ദാവീദ് നോബിൽ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹിമേലെക്കിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു; ദാവീദിനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അഹിമേലെക്ക് ഭയപ്പെട്ടു അവനോടു: നീ തനിച്ചാകുന്നു, ആരും കൂടെയില്ലാത്തതു എന്തു?

7. then came david to nob to ahimelech the priest: and ahimelech was afraid at the meeting of david, and said unto him, why art thou alone, and no man with thee?

8. അപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് പുരോഹിതനായ അഹിമേലെക്കിനെ അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്‍വാൻ വന്നു; ദാവീദിനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അഹിമേലെക്ക് ഭയപ്പെട്ടു അവനോടു: [നീ തനിച്ചായിരിക്കുന്നതും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ആരും ഇല്ലാത്തതും എന്തു?
