4. o you who have faith! avoid much suspicion; indeed some suspicions are sins. and do not spy on one another or backbite. will any of you love to eat the flesh of his dead brother? you would hate it. be wary of allah; indeed allah is all-clement, all-merciful.

5. o you who believe! avoid most suspicion-some suspicion is sinful. and do not spy on one another, nor backbite one another. would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? you would detest it. so remain mindful of god. god is most relenting, most merciful.

6. o you who believe! avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. and spy not, neither backbite one another. would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? you would hate it(so hate backbiting). and fear allah. verily, allah is the one who accepts repentance, most merciful.
