2. تب صدقیاہ بادشاہ نے کہا، ”دیکھو وہ تمہارے ہاتھ میں ہے۔

6. تب شاہِ بابل نے صِدقیاہ کے بیٹوں کو ربلہ میں اُس کی آنکھوں کے سامنے قتل کر دیا۔ مزید یہ کہ بابل کے بادشاہ نے یہوداہ کے تمام رئیسوں کو قتل کر دیا۔

7. تب صدقیاہ بادشاہ نے یرمیاہ کو حکم دیا کہ وہ قید خانے میں بند کر دیا جائے، اور ہر روز سٹو کے ساتھ روٹی کا ایک ٹکڑا دیا جائے، جب تک کہ شہر میں مزید روٹی نہ رہے۔

7. then king zedekiah instructed that jeremiah be confined to the vestibule of the prison, and that they should give him a twist of bread daily, along with stew, until all the bread in the city had been consumed.

8. کہ جب یہوداہ کے بادشاہ صدقیاہ اور تمام جنگجوؤں نے اُن کو دیکھا تو وہ بھاگے اور رات کو شہر سے نکلے، بادشاہ کے باغ کے راستے سے، دونوں دیواروں کے درمیان کے دروازے سے۔ اور وہ میدان کے راستے سے نکل گیا۔
