1. पण तुमच्यामध्ये लहान मुले आहेत.

10. say: if you control the treasures of the mercy of my lord, then you would withhold(them) from fear of spending, and man is niggardly.

11. म्हणा, "माझ्या स्वामींच्या दयेची तरतूद जरी तुमच्याकडे असती, तरी तुम्ही ते खर्च करू नये म्हणून ते रोखले असते, कारण माणूस दुष्ट आहे.

11. say:"even if you owned the stores of the mercy of my lord, you would have held them back for fear of spending them, for man is niggardly.

12. म्हणा, "माझ्या स्वामींच्या दयेचा खजिना जरी तुमच्याकडे असला, तरी तुम्ही ते खर्च करू नये म्हणून ते रोखून ठेवता, आणि माणूस खूप कंजूष आहे.

12. say,‘even if you possessed the treasuries of my lord's mercy, you would withhold them for the fear of being spent, and man is very niggardly.

13. म्हणा, "माझ्या स्वामींच्या कृपेचा खजिना तुमच्याकडे असला, तरी तुम्ही ते खर्च करू नये म्हणून ते रोखून ठेवाल. माणूस फारच लहान आहे!"

13. say,"even if you possessed the treasures of the mercy of my lord, you would surely hold them back for fear of spending. man is indeed niggardly!

14. जे क्षुद्र आहेत आणि इतरांना क्षुद्र होण्यास सांगतात. आणि जो मागे फिरतो, त्याने (हे जाणून घेतले पाहिजे की) अल्लाह आत्मनिर्भर, अपार प्रशंसनीय आहे.

14. those who are niggardly and bid others to be niggardly. and he who turns away,(should know that) allah is self-sufficient, immensely praiseworthy.

15. म्हणा: "जर तुमच्याकडे माझ्या स्वामीच्या कृपेचे खजिना असेल, तर तुम्ही ते ठेवाल, जेणेकरून तुम्ही ते खर्च करू नका: कारण मनुष्य (सर्व) क्षुद्र आहे!"

15. say:"if ye had control of the treasures of the mercy of my lord, behold, ye would keep them back, for fear of spending them: for man is(every) niggardly!

16. तुम्हाला देवाच्या कारणासाठी खर्च करण्यास सांगितले जाते, परंतु तुमच्यापैकी काही लोक उद्धट वागत आहेत. जो लोभीपणाने वागतो तो स्वतःच्या आत्म्याविरुद्ध असे करतो. देव स्वावलंबी आहे आणि तुम्ही गरीब आहात. जर तुम्ही त्याच्यापासून दूर गेलात तर तो तुमची जागा इतर लोकांसोबत घेईल, जे तुमच्यासारखे होणार नाहीत.

16. it is you who are asked to spend for the cause of god, but some of you behave in a niggardly way. whoever behaves miserly does so against his own soul. god is self-sufficient and you are poor. if you were to turn away from him, he would just replace you with another people, who will not be like you.
