19. اِس سب سے پہلے جان لو کہ آخری دنوں میں ٹھٹھا کرنے والے اپنی خواہشات کی پیروی کرتے ہوئے مذاق اُڑائیں گے 4 اور کہیں گے کہ اُس کے آنے کا وعدہ کہاں ہے؟

19. know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with[their] mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying,“where is the promise of his coming?

20. اور تم سے پہلے کے رسولوں کا بھی مذاق اڑایا گیا ہے۔ اس لیے میں نے طعنہ زنی کرنے والوں کو کچھ دن کا وقفہ دیا، پھر پکڑ لیا۔ پھر میری سزا کیسی ہولناک تھی!

20. and indeed the noble messengers before you were also mocked- i therefore gave the mockers respite for some days and then seized them; so how(dreadful) was my punishment!
